Sound analysis.

The 2003 De-Baathification of post war-Iraq was widely criticized as the worst possible move the Bush administration did. Instead of removing an entire system and building from scratch, just reform it with the key players from said system.

Same goes in Iran, De-Islamifying Iran’s government and trying to rebuild the state apparatuses is too time consuming with high rates of failure. Just reform the system and pick people from within to lead.

Nation building in post Iraq/Afghanistan era is effectively dead. It’s too costly and time consuming and the U.S. cannot afford to pour $4T dollars to rebuild Iran’s government from scratch.

National building is dead, yes, but US doesnt build nations, it builds "proxy nations", and its still very active in that line of business, latest case being Venezuela.

But I agree that buildings a proxy nation out of Iran is a DEAD ON ARRIVAL case, which only the stupidest of US presidents would attempt.

Iran should just do a Preemptive Strike and get this over with already! Waiting too long for pro-coup protestors in Iran to receive CIA and Mossad funding and backing is dangerous, so initiating a military confrontation first, legitimately under the pretext of fighting a just war to repel invaders planning to harm Iranian sovereignty, government and peace, is perfectly within Iran's rights.

Catch them off-guard now while not one of Iranian assets have been destroyed yet. The forces arrayed against Iran NOW are too massive that the result(massive bombardment) will be the same anyway if Iran hadn't started it first, so might as well initiate it from Iran's side so they can take out at least 10-15% of US Military's In-Theater offensive forces would be just good enough to reduce the total number of enemies and targets Iran has to fight once the war proper starts.

The longer this war drags on, the more Iran can have Trump deposed due to starting this fight with Iran first by threatening Iran with an invasion and deploying this massive amount of forces that endangers Iranian peace and security. MAKE THIS AMERICA'S COSTLIEST MISCALCULATION SINCE VIETNAM.
