Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

The attack on Qatar didnt kill anyone, was a retaliation and Iran didn't instigate that event to begin with...so yes, details do matter!

Let's follow this thread on what you and I quoted to come this: I said something like there was an arranged attack against each other, to which Iran agreed with: Americans attacked Iranian sites, to supposedly obliterate the entire Iranian nuclear program, and I am not sure there were any casualties on that particular attack, and in return Iran attacked Qatar. Those two were arranged attacks to defuse the situation and both parties agreed with that.
And that's what I was referring to--not the whole 12 day war.
Details, friend. Details.

Did you read the thread?

Iran built its entire deterrence policy on Israel around Hezbollah and missiles. But Iran fired 600+ missiles between operation TP 1 & 2 and didn’t do much damage.

That is what emboldens the US/Israel today.

If Iranian missiles did not do any damage, why did "Israel" censor releasing any information about every military, intelligence, and critical installations that was hit by Iranian missiles?

Today, Netanyahu has pressured Trump to attack Iran while he informed Iran through Russia that "Israel" will not be involved" in any conflict between US and Iran.

By looking at those 2 points, we can clearly deduce that Iran has deterred "Israel". Otherwise, Netanyahu would not have been using Epstein Files to pressure Trump.

I just saw your edit. What happened to Rial after the agreement? Nothing! It didn't appreciate against USD at all.
In fact, when Rohani took the office, 1 USD was nearly 3,600 IRT and when he left the office after the JCPOA, 1 USD was nearly 30,000 IRT. Stop blaming it on the hardliners. Rohani and Zarif weren't any better either.
What did you say? Lol.....get out bro!

"The 2016 period was a temporary, stable interval compared to the dramatic, exponential devaluation that began in 2018 and continued through 2026"

"In 2016, the Iranian rial experienced a period of relative stability, albeit at a low valuation, following the implementation of the JCPOA.

"Following the implementation of the JCPOA in January 2016, Iran's economy experienced a sharp, one-time rebound, with GDP growing by roughly 12.5% to 13.8% in 2016. This growth was primarily driven by a doubling of oil exports and the release of frozen assets. Between 2016 and the 2018 U.S. withdrawal, the economy continued to see positive growth, averaging around 4.8% annually."

further, what negotiations are for, if IR missiles are'nt up to the task?

The fact you cannot see why a White Old Man beat a Black/Indian woman and need to point to all these elaborate schemes is just perplexing.

It’s quite simple, America is not ready for a female president. They weren’t ready for a WHITE female president from a prominent American family whose husband many American view favorablely (Bill Clinton). So why would they elect a black woman who many viewed as inexperienced and an air head?

Because Democrats have an obsession with pushing woke candidate and woke policies in an era where the voter base cares more about the economy and prosperity.

Half the country is moderate to moderate conservative (especially rural areas) and yet Democrats keep thinking liberal woke policies and socialist policies will get them the minority vote to overcome the conservatives. Time and time again the Hispanic vote has gone Republican because they come from countries where socialism lead to disaster (Cuba, Venezuela, Argentina, etc)

Now let’s see who they roll out in 2028. If it’s Newsom they have a chance, if it’s another woke candidate then their only hope is for Trump to **** up the economy before the elections so they win that way.

Not only being a female but she had a history that came with her when she was a district attorney in San Francisco, CA. She condemned many black and hispanic men to prison. Those black and hispanic men did remember her at voting booth in 2024.

In places like Deerborn, Michigan, she alienated the Arab and Muslim vote by alining herself with Israel and its Zionist backers.

Simply put it, she was a weak candidate.

Well, I had gotten out of the whole JCPOA debate with that guy; banter is not my forte in this forum. Some people think by having the last post on something, they win-- I usually let them indulge in that.
But glad an Iranian here is shedding light on JCPOA with my hope that something like JCPOA is offered again--much better than the bombs, for sure. And If JCPOA 2 is offered to Iran, then they would glad grab it by both hands. The original JCPOA didn't ask to greatly reduce the nuclear enrichment, didn't ask to remove the support to the militias, AND didn't ask to remove the long range missile program. If any new JCPOA is offered--it will not be as good, not at all.

Only small brained hardliners didn't like it....incidentally, we are in this position because of those same morons.

Strange post.
Netanyahu is going to Washington again and again certainly to pressure a rather reluctant President Trump to wage a war.

It was possible in 1960s:

View attachment 181258
Mach 4+
Up to 90,000 altitude
3000 miles range
Was used in surveillance back then

I’m not saying Iran should have built a B-2 bomber or some extragvant large bomber. I am saying they should have focused on a single drone program that had the capability of dropping a small amount of PGMs on HVTs (air defenses, radars, fuel depots at air bases, etc) to help make the BM force a force multiplier.

Iran’s attack vector is very 1D today. Missiles. No AirPower. No true drone threat. No true Navy threat.

We had a couple of users from the old forum well versed in this field and said that there were retired former engineers who worked on US/European aeronautical systems that live in Iran and weren’t even being contacted by the government.

The reason was simple: Iran didn’t believe in air power and didn’t believe it cutting edge systems.

Instead we got MALE drone after MALE drone after MALE. We have 4 different predator drone designs! For what purpose? Why do we need all these different sub sonic drones that are useless against Israel or U.S.? Why did they spend useless dollars trying to reverse engineer the F-5 for 25 years?! For what purpose?

The problem with Iran’s philosophy is it got so obsessed with low cost designs, and quantity vs quality that at the time of war it became a liability for large scale use against a high tech adversary.

Cost conscious warfare has its place. But there is a reason China spends 200B+ on its military and attempts to achieve cutting edge arms rather than just building millions of missiles and $20K drones. It has the industrial capacity to build 50x whatever Iran can build in missile production, if it wanted to. This is a country that builds 4 destroyers at once in a single shipyard.

But obviously China realizes missile power and quantity over quality of weapons may be enough to fight India or Japan, but it’s not enough for its true enemy: U.S.
what engine are you going to use for this massive project ?

how will it get past USAF and air defences in Iraq and Jordan (and Israel) ?

Israel will patrol Syrian air space with F-35s and hunt this drone easily, and each one lost would be a massive loss

To seperate Midnight Hammer with the 12 day war is a desperate attempt at clutching at straws. The one event wouldn't have happened if the other event wasn't taking place. It's all linked my dear friend!

What major damage was caused by TP1/TP2?

You are confusing the war with the prior operations.

Iran fired over 500 missiles (if you believe the West) in TP1/2 and didn’t do any significant damage hence why the war happened in June

You are the one clutching at the straws.
I had suggested that the tit for tat arrangement the Iranians and the Americans did could be another way out and that arrangement was restricted to one on one strikes and the situation defused. I, of course, did not refer to the events before that. I spoke in good faith about how to defuse the situation and you brought up the 1000 dead from the previous days.
Our posts are still there for others to see. I don't think I edited mine and if I did then maybe minor typos/grammar.

what engine are you going to use for this massive project ?

“Massive” project? It’s a delta wing design with a scramjet. The PGMs exist, the FLIR tech is magnitudes better than the film camera they used for spying. The design exists. The only thing Iran would need is way to mass produce scramjets with similar performance, didn’t need to be exact performance match.

The scramjet is a relic from the 1960s era (65 year old tech mind you) and if Iran spent its time investing in its scramjets instead of blowing money building Mowj vessels and refurbished F-5’s then it could have made a breakthru.

Thats the point of a black project. It would require effort and resources, but it was within Iran’s engineering capability if it put its mind to it. Not without risk, but nothing is. Instead Iran only spent its time reversing whatever western or Israeli drone it could capture. Always cautious and sticking to “safe” projects.

how will it get past USAF and air defences in Iraq and Jordan (and Israel) ?

How did Iranian subsonic Shaheds get past Saudi Arabian defense and hit Armaco when the PG was lined with Patriot ADs and radars all facing Iran?

A Mach 3+ drone flying 80K altitude is not easily targeted. That’s what makes HALE valuable. And it will be in and out of a radar envelope before a missile could even be fired and would outpace most ground interceptors.

Clearly it would be designed to avoid radar envelopes same way Iran preprogrammed the Armaco drones. But if it did have to break thru airspace it be much better at surviving. The point would be a quick hit and return before enemy jets can take off or locate you.

Israel will patrol Syrian air space with F-35s and hunt this drone easily, and each one lost would be a massive loss

Israel will patrol and hunt down a Mach 3+ drone flying at upper stages of atmosphere “easily” with a jet that has a top speed of 1.6? Lay down the Xbox controller and join reality.

This drone design was a more viable idea than the 1000+ Shahed drones fired in TP1/2/3 that did nothing but waste resources.

I said the same thing about mountain air bases and was dismissed by AmirPatriot as unrealistic…months before it was unveiled.

None of these things were outside of Iran’s grasp nor are they realm of science fiction. And all have existed before in some shape or form. You cannot beat the West with just missiles and off the shelf parts from ALIBABA.

This board could have had some great ideas if it wasn’t an echo chamber filled with cyber bullies who wanted to say how amazing Iran’s missiles were and how the West was on the brink of collapse for years and years.

Losers like SalarHaqq and Jauk who filled this board with mindless propaganda and called anyone who dissented as Israeli spies. Both no where to be found, funny isn’t it?

If Iran’s government was filled with idiots like those two then it’s no wonder we find ourselves in this position today.
