It's IR falls then Hezbollah will inevitably fall too. Lebanese government and army, and maybe others would go after them after that fact.

They're actually in an existential struggle now too. Especially with Assad regime falling, they don't really have any friends remaining. And anyone willing to work with them will want them to surrender their weapons to the state.

I always thought the UK base was in the country of the Southern part of the divided Cyprus. That's how it was portrayed in a BBC interview with a Cypriot when there were some negotiations between both Cyprus were going on to try and unite them.

There are two separate bases - Cyprus has always been a sovereign nation which is a full EU member. I think people always get confused by this.

Its called honourable death in traditional orthodox Islam. Anyways imagine if he was hiding in bunker people would say 100s of school girls have died, generals died but Khameini was hiding. He was martyred like a lion. At times soldiers have to put their bodies on the line and he did just that. The rest is up to Allah almighty, if its written there will be a way out for Iran, remember before the revolution Iran was under extremist secular leadership and the people decided they wanted to protect their Islamic moral code and rose up, in the near it can happen again, ofcourse the enemies will make sure it never happens.

I don't think Israeli forces are in southern Lebanon. But they're amassing at the border. With Syria today. Syria is not a party to this conflict but Israel can't be trusted.

Hezbollah is finished. Its fighters will simply disband into local miltias. While they will lose their heavy weaponry.

Having HZ join the Gaza war was the dumbest thing the Axis did. It should have been either everyone in the axis joined (Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Lebanon) or no one.

Iran could have really used HZ during the last two wars to deplete Israeli interceptors and draw focus away from Iran.

All around bad strategy planning by the axis. But it all comes down to Sinwar’s decision.

Israel didn't need any 'excuse' to take southern Lebanon up to the Litani River. That land is too fertile, too strategic to ignore but so far Hezbollah became the first, the last and only line of defense to prevent Israel from taking that land.
Hezbollah must join for the sake of Lebanon itself otherwise Lebanon is going to lose its prized southern chunk.

Correct. The Cypriots got shafted as is always the case when weaker nations deal with superpowers.

Seems Iike 🇮🇷 started using cluster and penetrating munitions in this round of fighting against Israel and did so early in the war. Obviously 🇮🇷 was being nice to israel in TP 1 2 and 3 by not using penetrating munitions so frequently.

Israeli bunkers are obviously only as good as the ones Nasrallah and Khamenei were in when they died🤷
