China should care very much. A lot of their oil is from Iran, and importantly priced in Yuan, not dollars. If a US stooge takes over, you can forget paying in Yuan. Also the other Gulf puppets will be back on the petrodollar.

As a strategic partner countries will lose faith in China.

I hope and pray for victory for muslims and humanity in general against these oppressors and molesters but things can go anyway outcomes change and you know what doesnt change. Now if things go bad that is if the country is invaded which I dont think would happen anytime soon but if that happens the knowledge base of ballistic missiles and air defense should be protected. They will go after the scientists and the knowledge base in that case. There wont be operation paperclip saving Iranian scientists like the germans.
