That is a misconception... Iran cannot go tit for tat... like for like...

Their power lies in asymmetry and keeping the clock running... resolve and perseverance. Right now they have started the clock rolling.... their is about 20 percent daily drop of oil export drop that will take time to hit markets... every single day it builds up.... remember this oil wasn't going to hit refineries in some time... so the impact at consumer level is still down the raod.... second, the loaded spring is hanging on leveraged economies... it impacts US THE MOST... who can least afford a lasting downturn in prospects. There is another 10 trillion that has to be refinanced... the vehicle used at the moment is replacing long-term bonds with short term ones... who's maturity will also be coming due in very short periods.

In short, the persistence of this conflict itself is detrimental.
 
One thing I would say, in midst of all this, Iran should give all it got to either destroy or demish American war fighting capabilities in the region, becuase even if some off ramp is achieved, its almost guaranteed that Ameirca will be back months or years down the line breathing down Iran neck with some other pretext.

Missile-358 is a drone itself, designed to loiter around and track MALE UCAVs, helis like targets targets. It was tested extensively in Yemen-Saudi war.

They are adjusting strategy per Israeli reports yesterday to fire larger salvos 10-30 missiles at a time rather than a few at a time.

I imagine it's difficult to move such large easily visible missiles around into firing positions when US and Israeli jets are flying near or over many parts of coutnry .
 
Israel appears on track to divide Lebanon and take over half of it. Like they are doing in Gaza with the 'Yellow line'

Maybe, maybe not. Lets not exaggerate looking at live feeds of Dubai and things look pretty intact, localized impacts from 45 suicide drones is something to disrupt a country's economy and logistics but I see no evidence of widespread destruction. When you look at the casualties in the Gulf whether its civilians or soldiers its all relatively low given that thousands of drones and hundreds of missiles have been fired, it seems believable that the interception rate is pretty high. I think Iran is banking on two things: 1. Despite limited success, its stranguling the economy and causing a disproportionate impact on energy prices and 2. The GCC countries run out of interceptors which will increase Iran's efficacy rate.

I think the first point is more likely for success than the second. The geography of the Straight of Hormuz allows Iran to block transport with limited force and as well as ground the Gulf economies to a halt. On the second point I think its already clear today that Iran has lost complete control of its air-space and the bombing sorties by the Israel/US limit its ability to launch large scale missile attacks (which is they are mostly targeting the Gulf countries and not Israel as much). Time will tell if I'm right.

firstly, it is the Persian Gulf

secondly, Israel cannot sustain massive air sorties at this range forever

Hezbollah, with all due respect, made such a stupid mistake

entered the war with the weakest attack ever which totally failed

all these months absorbing blows and the best they could do is 10 rockets and a few drones? time to pack it up honestly, not worth it at this point

Iraqi Resistance, on the other hand, are doing fantastic.
