How will this turn in to a major conflict, Iran is fighting with all of its might and Usa Israel is already destroying Iranian military, or do you mean invasion of Iran as some members are point towards.

By the way I remember your point on ballistic and cruise missile damage, you mentioned it destroys a few buildings or blocks but it doesnt do significant damage to make someone win a war. So in another words Iran 5000 missiles will run out soon and they will be sitting duck but Usa Israel will continue to destroy iran capabilities, send them back to 1980s.

Iran is making this war regional by attacking everyone, not just US bases in the region. This is a gamble Iran made to basically push it up to 10 and hope the US/Israel will try to bring it down instead of putting it up. Simply because they themselves had put it up.

Now, so far GCC is constrain but if Israel and the US had other intentions and they don't want this war to stop, if this is the case, then they will fan the war to go where the Iranian brought, drawing Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Brahain and the UAE into the flame. Thus making this a major conflict if this wasn't resolved soon.

Israel and the US are more than glad to send missiles and planes to bomb Iran all day, every day, because Iran isn't going to do much damage if they were hitting a US base or Israel, as I said before, but it's a different game if the Iranian targeting GCC and co. Because that is a cause for escalation, for example, bombing Qatar LNG production would set Qatar back, even if they didn't do anything, just holding Qatari LNG tanker at bay makes them lose a bunch of money, and if this war escalates, it won't just be bombs and missiles flying. It would be at least a joint Air/Naval operation, up to and including limited ground invasion.

It's shameless of Tasnim to report that Iran shot down a U.S. military aircraft when it was an Iranian fighter jet that was shot down by an F-35. They are tarnishing Iran's honor.

The issue is, even for argument sake, there is mutual hate between certain section of Sunni and Shia population, we both are confronting a beast which do not differentiate between us. Can we not, atleast for time being, while dealing with this beast to step aside our differences and work together towards mutual survival. If Iran can keep the Strait of Hormuz closed for about a month, they will win hands down! With no oil going out and no food coming in, the global economy would stall. Furthermore, it would cut off the flow of Petro-dollars currently being invested in U.S. AI development.

Iran may "win", but the rest of the world would adapt.

Besides, no way the US navy allows the strait to remain closed beyond a few days. The world would turn again Iran quickly, including friendly nations, as prices rise for their own citizens.

The closing of the strait is more of a short term punishing strategy.
