The US was always going to establish air dominance over Iran.

For this reason, Iran only had the first two days to unleash a massive wave of missiles before the US would take over the skies and start hunting their missiles.

During this short window, Iran needed to exhaust interceptor supplies and eliminate key radars that help track and intercept their missiles.

Iran succeeded with both of these objectives.

The entire region has burned through interceptors.

They will not replace them quickly and must now face the next few months struggling to intercept Iranian missiles and drones targeting the strait of Hormuz.

And by destroying or damaging radars, Iran has increased the chances of their missiles slipping through.

Now that the 2 day window has closed, they are pivoting to a long war of attrition.

Just like the 12 day war, Iran has reduced its missile launches but will still deliver them over time for a long war of attrition.

This isn’t happening because the US destroyed their missiles or their launchers.

It’s happening because Iran is saving them for the long haul.

America will establish air dominance but they can’t keep their refuelers and fighter jets flying over all of Iran to bomb it left and right forever.

The US isn’t just low on interceptors. They are also low on JDAMS.

So there will be a shortage of key offensive weapons as well.

So the US hasn’t destroyed Irans missile supplies nor their ability to launch them. And they likely won’t be able to at all.

This is why Trump hurriedly tried to recruit the Kurds to fight for them.

They need proxies to try and break Iran in the long run by occupying territory.

So far, no one seems able or willing.

And the population that supposedly hated the government has remained loyal.

To keep Hormuz closed, Iran doesn’t need massive waves.

They just need to fire one or two missiles a day.

And if one of those missiles hits an oil facility, it will be disastrous.

And as we are now seeing, they have the ability to launch missiles from underground. so Iran is guaranteed to still get them off.

So the gulf countries will take a massive hit to their oil and gas revenues throughout this entire 8 week process.

And by the way, another reason for the reduction in missile waves is the fact that the military is operating in decentralized nodes.

They have their orders and their targets.

They will attack when they choose to.

The only real winner in this situation is Israel because their goal was never really regime change but the weakening of Iran.

They have achieved this but not without dragging the US into a quagmire and fucking over the gulf countries in the process.

But Iran still has highly enriched uranium and can drop 20 nukes on Israel at any moment.

So this is ugly and painful for Iran but it isn’t over.

Remember, the US went to war with the Houthis for 8 weeks too.

They still control the bab al Mandeb strait.

What threats? Attacking economic targets whilst Israeli bases are still safe and fully operational?

It's open war brother. Sadly that is what happens in open war.

The ship is not the thing we should be noticing; I would take a note on the sub that sank it. Sub don't travel alone, the location means they are with the 5th fleet, which means the entire fleet is nearby, it wasn't close to the area before, that means it is an escalation on the US side. Because IIRC, there were no naval activities around INdian Ocean before the attack. They are all positioned in the Med, unless I was wrong about it. That means the US is adding another CBG or 2 in the AO.

I will be posting less due to personal reasons, plus I doubt anyone takes my thoughts seriously anyway!

Momentum is < from Iran. Or appears that way, we cannot see what Iran has achieved on the naval front but certainly the Americans can show us what they have achieved.

They are however keeping their prime assets out of reach.

Iran did the right things by pounding their bases in the region. This will cause a logistics nightmare further down the line. Reports indicating they are having to use indian facilities. Hopefully, the bases will be completely obliterated in the coming days. Try to understand what removing the 5th fleet infrastructure from the map means....it's a significant.

This alone is causing grief to the Americans and internal chaos is manifesting by contradictory, bizarre and incoherent statements by the them, such as "we did not start this war". Imagine what the war planners are going through knowing THEIR FOOTPRINT in the ME is getting smaller and smaller.

The last few waves by the Americans over Tehran have been huge. I don't think they are hitting anything meaningful in Tehran now, it is pure terrorism and is in fact the dictionary definition of terrorism....Read it up, because I doubt many actually understand the definition of terrorism. The positives are that those shock and awe scenes do not translate into the destruction of a strategic asset.

Positives:

- most analysts agree America cannot "win" but we also know Americans loosing means more of you than them will die....

- America and Israel appear alone. Europeans are limiting their assistance, including Britain despite the drobe strike on akrotiri cyprus....this is likely an Israeli flash flag anyway to drag the British in but it's not gaining traction....perhaps the intelligence services know it was an Israeli false flag hence the silence.

- HB back in action over northern Israel. This is not good at all for Israel. They are taking out tanks and their missiles are once again pounding northern Israel.

- I believe the Iranians when they say they haven't yet used all their capabilities. This is likely going to be a long war.

- after a week, Iran can still fire a significant number of missiles and doesn't appear to be using their underground launch sites. I honestly thought the Americans could stop that from happening on day 1.....

I would like to add if Iran continue economic choking by closing strait of Hermuz for another 4-weeks, it will become very interesting. Energy prices and food prices are already going up in EU.

We need to wait and see how long Iranian army can hold out. These air attacks are to soften the ground and then introduce Kurds + Mujahedeen-e-Khalq + Pro-Shah elements and other ethnicities.

Prolongation of war with economic choking should work in favour of Iran.

It's the actual doctrine........And he wasn't just talking about NYC; we are talking about continuity of government, which is no longer sustainable. Taking out NYC alone will probably decimate the Democrats' vote, and probably a lot of people's money (including China), but it won't make a dent in US military capability.
