The Trump regime is irrational and loves to show itself as strong, I doubt they intend to allow any oil exports from Iran after this conflict. Again, the US is not giving Iran any reason to end the conflict. They cannot force the jews to stop bombing even if they stop and they are not offering sanctions relief. Iran's situation is not going to improve if hostilities cease.

Well how will the Iranian government survive without oil exports? The US allowed Saddam Hussein to export Iraqi oil after the first gulf war.

There is "not going to allow us any weapons program" , iran is at war to win or being defeated because If Iran loses, IT WILL NO LONGER EXIST AS A NATION. It will become like the Gaza Strip, Yugoslavia, or Libya. There's no way Iran can become like "Argentina", for example, a third-world country, colonized and without weapons. Iran now either becomes the Gaza Strip or North Korea; I bet it will become the second option.

I agree with you, but I can’t control Iranian decision making. If it was up to me I would have stockpiled as many warheads as possible.

That was over 30 years ago. The US does not follow the same logic as it did then. They do not want the government to survive, they have said as much. If you are Iran right now, what changes if you stop firing? The jews will still bomb you and sanctions are still there.

So it seems a Israeli F-15 was downed near northern Tehran, Israelis sent a spec ops rescue team which landed in Iraq to refuel where they shot a Iraqi serviceman.

There were strikes on the Iranian power grids causing blackouts likely to give cover to the helicopters

Not quite. Translation from Arabic isn't good. It's just means US AF or forces were subjected to security incident. Arabic language is quite different than English the vocabulary we use is different and can just be interpreted as US army got some kind of loss over Iran.

Could mean jet shot down or US special forces suffered casualties of failed in a mission on ground if some sort.

But Kim Jong-un was surprisingly capable.
He established nuclear deterrence, modernized the military, solidified the alliance with Russia, and even put the economy back on track, overcoming remarkable and severe sanctions to achieve modernization.
In medieval times, he would have been remembered as a wise king.
The difference in the caliber of their leaders has led to the difference in the current state of both nations.

There is a delusional class of Muslims and esp Iranians who think Russia can help any Islamic country. We fought for 400 years against them to save our territory. There is a reason Iranic empire is reduced to such short territory, that reason is Russia. Their view of Middle east/Central Asia has never changed.
