Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

It just shows how Important air power is, a decent airforce may have even detered US, Israel, if not their losses would have been huge. Taking out those air tankers and AWACS would have also messed up sorty rates and their ability to make long range attacks. Those big bombers would have stayed put.

What confuses me is Iran invested so much on domestic airdefences and radar systems, both have been largely ineffective. What gave them confidence in these systems to stay on this route or was it because Russia/China not offering any? Iran should have procured should launched mobile a2a missilesto use asymmetrically knowing it will be a long war where they need to hunker down.

The Navy, kilo subs, ships seem to be either at dock or far away isolated, no strategy or urgency to use these. Wouldn't it have been better for them to operate together out in the Arabian sea knowing an attack is Imminent or they thought lets not lose men worthlessly?

Whats the strategy with use of antiship missiles, looks like coastal use to disrupt shipping in hormuz and keep large US ships far way.

We can see most of the focus went on missile forces and drones, irans strongest offensive ability and to make it survive with underground missle cities and silos.

I wonder how much they prepared for guerilla style warfare but with anti aircraft, anti tank, ship mobile missiles.

Soon all of us will start paying the price for the satanic US/Israeli war on Iran.

Here gas prices have gone up from (CAD) $1.30/liter yesterday to $1:46/liter today. By tonight they’re going to go to $1:52/liter. If the war drags on they may go to $3/liter or more.

If wholesale prices go to $100/barrel it will actually be beneficial for the US. That’s because extracting Venezuelan oil will become viable at that price.

It’s only if prices go to $150-200/barrel that serious pain will start to be caused. Only when the US public rebels against their pedophile rulers that the world will see relief.

Here's the latest

On the ground: There has been no letup in strikes with the war in its sixth day. Israel says it hit Iranian missile sites while Iran carried out fresh retaliatory strikes across the region, with several injured in Abu Dhabi. A CNN team has entered Iran, the first US network to cross into the country since the war began.

Widening conflict: There are further signs of the war spilling beyond the Middle East. Iran denied its drones struck an airport in Azerbaijan. Meanwhile, Tehran called the US torpedoing of a warship near Sri Lanka an “atrocity.”

• Evacuations ramp up: Stranded passengers are starting to leave the Middle East as airlines schedule new services and governments rally charter flights. But many remain stuck with travel options limited.

• Kurds targeted: Iran said it targeted “separatist terrorist groups (that) intended to enter the country’s western borders.” The statement follows reports that the CIA was working to arm Kurdish forces, with the aim of fomenting a popular uprising in Iran.
