I wanted to apply for the visa to travel to Australia in early April as my family moved there last year, seems they are prioritizing people who need it immediately.

Not desperate as the things are reasonably well here. It's just that I live close to a base and twice everyday I hear the loud booms. Other than that, life is good.

It’s not Iran that closed the strait of Hormuz. It’s Lloyd’s of London that did it. With the world’s largest and one of the oldest insurers refusing to insure cargo, no ship is willing to risk that financial liability. Many didn’t even accept US offer to insure.

As long as the insurers feel that Iran poses a risk to the cargo transit, they won’t insure, which keeps the strait effectively closed without mines or speedboats needed.

Biggest beneficiary is still Russia on whose behest shit started and they are kinda gaining the lost ground in oil n gas market already. If ceasefire is enforced soon may be their target was smaller.

My friend , people demanding china “assist” Iran? China doesn’t brag about actions it just does it. Iran is using BEIDOU GPS secure network. China satellites are feeding live Intel to the Iranians on U.S air defence systems locations etc. and all other military activities by U.S

Sir, lets be honest whatever Iran could have muster or if purchased would have been shot down in turkey shoot. in hindsight they chose wisely under the circumstances to be asymmetrical in their military options.

you have to be impressed they are still standing and fighting! you must give the credit where its due.

Just see F35 first kill is Yak-130 and the pilot was congratulated by highest authority. Iran just denied them years and years of propaganda that there pilots are invincible and western tech is invincible.

Israeli ABM/AD shield is gone but now what ?

IMO everyone wants to escape from this war now but they are waiting for one side to make the first move.

Iran will not be able to control this war and I say this because Israel will not stop until they destroy urban centers and IRGC missile capabilities. Israel wants to humiliate and reduce Iran to another Gaza and I suspect that the Nazi Americans are supportive of this idea. So, I expect this war to continue. Even if there is a peace deal reached, one can never guarantee that it'll last even for a year. It may be used by the Americans and Israelis to rebuild their interceptor stocks and then attack again. Even if it costs 50-100 billion directly in defence expenses, it will not matter for the US since they have a 1.5 trillion defence budget.

Iran has to hope that oil reaches 150 quickly and they remain in control of Strait of Hormuz. Each day that regular Americans feel the pinch on their pockets, will be a step closer to peace.

As long as US is the opponent, they will simply strike your airbases first with long range cruise missiles or even their own ballistic missiles to neutralize air threats. Those B-2s are no joke, then their electronic warefare, SEAD is nearly unbeatable (except for China).

Hi,

There are F15's flying around and doing a lots of damage.

Funny things happen in war---.

Iran used to have some extremely capable pilots at one time.

Their top dog had a score of 16 downed aircraft and there are multiple pilots with over 10 aircrafts downed---.

But they all are past their prime or passed away---. Iran never focused on an air force.

I don't believe that no aircraft were available to them---. They just FAILED to procure when hostilties were at a lower level---. There was no sense of urgency---.

Their mindset was DRONES DRONES DRONES---and that is what they have to show.
