I believe there were the 'rogue' elements in Iran which launched the missiles into Pakistan and the next day Pakistan retaliated in an arranged tit for tat. Iran is not an integrated security state like Pakistan has. The two countries' threat perceptions are very different due to their geography and geopolitics and thus have evolved differently. No Pakistani has ever not noticed where the real threat lies: To Pakistan's east--in India.

Having said that, I believe the Iran-Pakistan relations are almost back to the Shah of Iran era. You may want to follow the American analyst Patrick Henningsen, who seems connected with the Iran establishment, to understand Pakistan-Iran relations, which are kept on low key.

As to what Pakistan will do in this conflict, it would hugely surprise me if Pakistan gets sucked majorly on Saudi Arabia's side due to that agreement. The language of that agreement doesn't automatically make Pakistan to launch missiles on Iran. At most, air defenses for Saudi Arabia but even that's a long shot. Iranians, Saudis, Turks, and Pakistanis really know it is Israel who is the ultimate enemy.

In the middle of this all, they try to extend israel geographically, whenever they can, as an added bonus of having all this power. Eventually, israel itself got a little out of hand after they got Kennedy assassinated for opposing their Nuclear program and got nukes. Now even the US cannot control them, even if if they ever want to.

Hence US's extreme commitment to israel. All of the other religious stories are promoted to keep a large US support base of Hardline Christians, as well to keep the European Jews from never abandoning israel.

They are seeing what is happening in Iran and know they are next, but are sitting hand in hand, just content with closing down their Iranian border, hoping Zionists will not touch them later. The least they can do is covertly or overtly help Iran right now. Like Russia / China and Pakistan are doing (at least based on what Iran mentioned ). Even a slight distraction will throw the planning of US and Israel off. Instead Turkey is acting opportunistic to grab land and expand its "influence". It is the height of illusion to assume that the Zionists will let them create another Ottoman Empire once this is all over.

Alliances are created during peace times or if their interests align suddenly. Iran/Turkey have their own independent policies and they do not align. Iran is in Russian camp with close relations to India whilst Turkey is part of Nato alliance. People are also dreaming GCC will change sides but they have a deep historical relations with Usa/British led world order. The fact is every Muslim nation is on their own. The Gaza genocide did not wake anyone up, in fact some Muslim nations wanted the end of Hamas, Hizbollah, Ansarallah, Bashar Al Assad, Saddam, Gaddafi and now Iran under Ayatullahs. These are the real facts which we overlook.
