It is really impressive how Iranians are able to confirm their hits via satellite imagery. A country with most severe sanctions in moern times but still is able to keep its ISR capabilities intact against uncomparable foe.

Dumb bombs means they have to come in directly overhead to bomb, making the planes dropping them easier to shoot down. Dumb bombs are also inaccurate, and even carpet bombing can't make a dent on Iran's underground missile bases.

Bombing of that school has majorly affected America's own cause in this war. There was no gain but only losses for the Americans. NY Times ran the school bombing story for several days and blamed Trump for that. Even some in MAGA bring up the school bombing.
You may benefit from a Trita Parsi video where he said so early in the war, the school bombing has united the Iranians against the invaders. That's counter to the American/Israeli goals.

Very naive to say this was mistake as there is no way the missile went off course or US had out of date data.
