Basically, Trump needed NATO countries vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, which means the NATO manpower as cannon fodders. NATO countries' leaders are answerable to their own constituents and body bags arriving in London or Berlin or Paris would be a big problem for the leaders especially after Trump had been insulting the Europeans for a year.

Maybe a good strategy for anti war Maga politcians is to shift the blame from trumpy to Israel and the american zionist lobby who tricked and lied to him. If you can create a narrative that trumpy was played and its not his fault the idiot might actually stop and throw some zionists under the bus.

As I said previously, regime change is never the agenda of US/ Iran attack. It is just PR.

Israel like hard line Iranian regime, the killing here and there make Iran regime get even harder. More hardline leaders come up and take the lead

Surrendering is a maximalist rhetoric , there's always middle ground.... Iran's recent blunder is to shun Saudi Arabia , Turkey and Pakistan from negotiations and insisting on bilateral......I believe outcome would have been different if these countries were part of the negotiations.

I think he meant the Iranian Azerbaijan (the west), not Baku Azerbaijan

Enough to watch just 10 minutes starting this point to know there is an 'escalation' and 'de-escalation' camp in the White House. The panel in this video are pretty informed people and worth watching the whole video; I watched most of it yesterday.
To be noted, the 'escalation' camp is the Jewish / Israel-firsters ones, as almost always.
