If the clout was enough, the GAZA war would have stopped in 2025. Hurting Saudis would hurt Pakistan equally ( Defence Pact). Iran only chance to hurt GCC is attacking energy and water infrastructure. This is where real hurt lies and this will ultimately drag Pakistan once again to defend Saudi. It is not a time to be emotional when it comes to interests of Pakistan.

The moment Pakistan diverts any resources, even 1 squadron of jets to Saudi, then India will restart up Sindoor - be guaranteed of it. The Saudi-Pakistani defense pact has no new military capability behind it at all yet. If there was no intent to add more military capability to it to operationalize the pact, then the pact was dead on arrival.

With Afghanistan active, Sindoor still in effect - does Pakistan have any spare military capability anywhere of any type to send to Saudi ??

The troop ramp up mirrors exactly that of Vietnam.

Once US loses a couple of hundred rats - it becomes a pride issue.

With every hundred soldiers lost the vengeance becomes more vile.

The best case is that US reopens it but to keep it open - US needs permanent presence.

Iran should concentrate on Jordan as well.

Maybe Iran is working on the 1st tier of the PGCC states, to resolve its security needs first, before movinig to Jordan? Jordan may come in a later phase.

What does any of this have to do with my post? I don't disagree with what you're saying. I was referring to the israelis being able to effectively use the airspace of all the countries from Lebanon right up to the border of Pakistan. Not a single country amongst them can do anything about it.
