Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

He truly does not understand the nature of NATO. NATO is a defensive organization not offensive. Iran did not attack the United States,
it was just the opposite so of course NATO wouldn't get involved. That's not what article 5 is meant to be

So which act of aggression was done against a NATO country by Libya or Ukraine for NATO to be involved or even by the Gazans in the recent Israel-Gaza war? In all those instances, plenty of 'NATO' countries were involved without putting the 'NATO' label. And you know that.

India getting ready to join the conflict?

wow - now, that will be interesting if India does agree to this, esp with their gas supply levels.

It is all good to sign pacts to gain economic and military benefits, but less so when you have to provide what you promised.

Interesting times ahead.

India is within rage of Iran btw, certainly within Shahed range.

Within the terms of LEMOA, India can actually say no. It is on a case by case basis. India "does not" have to say yes. Lets see what Modi Sir does!!

Israel 16 days ago: "Tehran has only a few more days of firing capability left"

since then, Iran has consistently launched 10-15 MRBMs at Israel every day.

I'm going to assume here the closest you've been to being in uniform is you know people in the military. You're making a lot of assumptions and clearly no nothing about the organization and capabilities of a MEU. Or how the two MEUs currently enroute will be deployed.

I am speaking in generality about when a ground operation could start. And it’s not starting until May at the earliest. My point is we shouldn’t even discuss it at this point because a lot can change between now and then.
