After all of this is over will Iran go for nukes and become a nuclear weapons state?

Depends on how all this ends. Can't really speculate on that without knowing what any potential peace agreements would look like...all we can say is that generally speaking, nuclear weapons have been proven to be the most consistent general purpose deterrent, but even then, look at NK. They're sanctioned to hell and back. Granted no one's trying to invade them, but they have a massive benefactor in China and Russia right next to them and no theological split/israel next to them that they're in conflict with. Russia could be another good example, currently embroiled in a slogfest in Ukraine, a country completely and utterly propped up by the West and NATO, despite having nuclear weapons, though they appear to be holding steady for now.

I dunno. It's a decision that the authorities that come out of it will have to weigh the risks/benefits of. IMO it's not a binary answer.

Pakistan needs to look at this through a medium and long term perspective.

Reliance on the Gulf puppet regimes is actually making things worse for Pakistan and countries like Bangladesh as they are a "back stop" to poor economic governance.

Yes things will be worse in the short-term but Iranian destruction of GCC energy facilities and economy will actually make things better in long term for Muslim world in general.

KSA is actively helping Zio-US attack Iran through basing and over-fly rights and so Iran has every right to attack KSA.

That’s exactly the kind of mentality which led to US & Israel attacking Iran and then Iran’s subsequent all-out-response across the region. If more countries behaved recklessly like that (just following their own interests without regard of others) — what do you think is gonna happen in the end?

Once again, dont speak on Pakistan behalf. Pakistan will do what is in its interestes. Iran is hurting Pakistan interests by hurting GCC who is our economic lifeline. Stop looking through iranian lens for once and feel the pain of Pakistani right now what they facing and what they gonna face. This goes to all the Irani sympathizers in Thread who arent living in Pakistan and arent facing the reprecussions.We have a defence pact with Saudi. That'll be honored. I dont think that the decision makers in our country can completely ignore the fact that there is significant public sentiment in favour of Iran and causing unrest within wont be very fruitful since there is a party waiting to capitalize on unrest in Pakistan.

Last post on this - KSA is the one that is actively involved in allowing attacks on Iran.

1. It allows basing of tankers and fighter aircraft on its soil used to launch operations on Iran.

2. Zio-US uses its airspace as and when they please to attack Iran -> where is the protest from KSA about this if they cannot stop this?



KSA-Pakistan 'defence pact" simply does not come into this and we all know Pakistan is not going to attack Iran over this and will pay 'lip service" to Gulfies.

We need to be prepared for Iranian destruction of Gulfie energy facilities and economy if this war carries on for much longer.
