So trump can declare victory that we destroyed irans military and withdraw rather than being bogged down in this unwinnable war.

I don't agree with Marandi on this. Both Turkieye and Qatar have deep defensive relations(eg Eurofighter transfer) so this not appropriate to suggest that Turkieye is involved in military operations in Qatar with this helicopter crash which looks like a simple transport mission at best.

Exactly. Deploying seven men in a single helicopter to intercept incoming drones is not a standard practice. The presence of technicians serves as an additional clue.
