I agree - Once ground troops attempt landing in Iran, then the dynamics of the war change completely as that is when the coffins really start flowing back to the USA and it will be difficult to pull back as there will be the need to "avenge" and "revenge" etc. This war at that point will take a life of its own then.

The desalination plant on Qeshm Island has been destroyed by Zionist bombing and is completely non functional.
Humans will die within days without water, and this is fatal on a remote island without a water source. The island's inhabitants and the IRGC will be wiped out in as little as a week.
This is the worst possible outcome brought about by hesitating to retaliate against the infrastructure.
Unless we show the resolve to completely destroy the GCC's desalination plant immediately, the situation will become irreversible, and Qeshm Island will fall without a fight.

It also means, any foreign soldiers would not be able to hold that island for very long due to the same problem as logistics to that Island can be targeted easily from Iran too.

There is no value in a ceasefire for Iran now, esp given that Iranian sanctions are now starting to bite on the world, and Israel is running out of interceptors.

The proposal, if this is all that it is, is not of much value.

Iran needs to see a permanent end to this, and removal of sanctions and this proposal won't help in that regard.

In this regard, China is quite useless when it comes to hard global politics as China is very naive and does not understand how the world works.

A pure fission nuclear bomb (the simplest model) is not suitable to be launched in a missile due to weight/power ratio.

Only a Hydrogen fission-fusion nuclear bomb is suitable to be launched in a missile from Iran to Israel.

North Korea spent 11 years from 2006 to 2017, to develop a hydrogen bomb from a pure fission nuclear bomb.

So even if Iran gets a nuclear bomb today, they wont be able to launch in a missile until 11 years after.
