Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Another factor was the riots of January 2026 hadn’t occurred or the June war of 2025.

Khamenai’s dovish behavior cost the nation very dearly.
For a Muslim leader that loved to preach "اشداء علی الکفار، رحماء بینهم", he really did the opposite of that.

The problem wasn't the late Khamenei alone though. The entire system felt comfortable with the status quo at that time. People were suffering, Israel was getting more and more aggressive, but the leaders of Iran felt safe from it because they were filling their pockets by evading sanctions and thought an all-out war would be improbable.

The damage that Khamenei's "strategic patience" has done to Iran will not be repaired in a long time. First and foremost, our nuclear program has been set back by years in a time that we have never needed nuclear deterrence more for survival. Secondly, it will take years for our economy to recover from this while our bad economy has been the cause of several uprisings in the last 10 years.

Once this war is over, we need to rethink a lot of things and change course in many ways. If it doesn't happen and we choose to ignore the problem like we did in the 12-day war, even darker days will be ahead.

Process of converting Iran into Gaza has begun but slowly! Obviously scale is much different.

Iran needs to up the ante significantly if it wants to survive after war, whenever or if it finishes.

No big deal. Money isnt the issue, usa will print it, and give it to Israel..usa treasuries will then be bought by whole world especially by china, japan and arab countries

You think the chinese elites want to give up on usa bonds 🤷 ofcourse not

And then we have arabs ..they have trillions
Money isnot a big deal but equipment and human life is. Israil has 1700+ merkava tanks. If the claim of 134 is true, its almost 10% of total supply.

Which is definitely huge.

It will be a much changed world, for better and for worse, in the post-Trump era, that is for sure.

On topic for this thread, the bullish Cheetoman has foolishly barged into a fine china shop with no idea of how to back out of it. That is a no-no on the basis of geopolitics, since it does not leave either side with much room to maneuver, as Pakistan is finding out. Its attempts to broker a ceasefire are not going to be easy, if they work at all.
He is a buffoon. Simply put.

He is essentially trying the Linebacker diplomacy. Just like the US tried to carpet bomb North Vietnamese into submission (which failed), he is threatening to do the same to arrive at some off-ramp which allows him to claim victory.

Trump's limited understanding of the military power essentially gives his Secretary of War and his generals a lot of leeway in what they want to do. This on top of the fact that his entire military staff is working tightly with Israelis means that Israeli considerations reign supreme. Then we have Kushner and Witkoff who are constantly reinforcing the Israeli PoV to Trump and we are left with a situation which is clearly of NO benefit to the US.

I had a conversation with some relatives and for some reason they keep on saying "Pakistan is doing America's bidding in its peacemaking efforts". I think that is a fundamental misunderstanding of the situation Pakistan finds itself in.

Pakistan is in a battle for its life not wanting to get dragged into a KSA-Iran war in which it will have to take sides and no matter which side comes out on top, Pakistan will be the loser (given our own Shia-Sunni equation). Pakistan's effort, America's interests be damned, is to not let KSA-Iran get into a shooting war by any means possible. And you have rightly said, it won't be easy, perhaps requiring a miracle to get to this peace.

They must know that its going to be very ugly like Gaza, perhaps more.
Thats why they are prematurely distancing themslves verbally so that they can still lecture the world about supposed human rights, democracy and what not. Hypocrites.

If Capability is still intact, its time for Irgc to hit infrastructure with accuracy so that they can also feel the pain. Hypersonics should start leveling buildinga like weisman was levelled.

They should also target the universities in israil now. Hitting bridges/bypasses with Missile is very difficult obviously.

The approach cannot be anything less than dismantling zion. It will break the false idol. A false god for everyone under the thumb of zion in different shades... GCC, Europe, India and Christian zionists in the US. These last ones assume the atheists who named their political colony as Israel is biblical...
Well, miliekowsky should name some kid Jesus Christ and be done with it.

Dismantle this abomination.

The American-Israeli forces target the B-1 Bridge in Karaj, Iran. It's the highest bridge in the Middle East.

This should be reciprocated in Israel, I think.

No such bridges in Israel, and Iran has no technical ability to hit something that "precisely" anyway.

Actually, they do have a couple of bridges that would be good candidates.
And Iran has cruise missiles to target anything it wants with precision, besides our drones.

Iran still having zoom calls in the middle of a war

Lack of OPSEC is shocking... truly..

They can, potentially. Recall the strike on the line-up of E-3 Sentry and KC tankers in Saudi Arabia by Iran? Why could Iran not target such infra in Israel? The real issue is that Israel does not have any such bridges of significance which would be targets for destruction.
