Border clashes
Heavy fighting centered on Ainata, Beit Lif, Deir Siryan, Qantara, Taybeh, Al-Qouzah, Shamaa, Naqoura, and surrounding axes, with ambushes, close-range engagements, and prolonged clashes against advancing Israeli forces. A major operation in Beit Lif involved explosive devices, rocket fire, and direct engagements, resulting in confirmed casualties, including a battalion commander according to Israeli admissions, with fighting lasting for hours. Multiple Israeli units positioned inside homes or moving along frontline routes were also targeted, with confirmed hits and disrupted reinforcements.
Armored vehicle and troop targeting
Several Merkava tanks were targeted and destroyed or damaged in Ainata, Qantara, and Rshaf using guided missiles and attack drones, alongside strikes on armored personnel carriers and troop gatherings. Israeli forces attempting evacuations came under continued fire, while additional strikes hit command convoys and troop concentrations across frontline villages and positions.
Drone attacks
Attack drones were widely used to target Israeli positions, air defense systems, barracks, and troop concentrations, including sites in Maalot Tarshiha, Adamit barracks, Shlomi, Nahariya, and along the Naqoura coast. Drones also struck units, vehicles, and infrastructure in multiple frontline areas, often in coordination with artillery and rocket fire, achieving confirmed casualties and operational disruption.
Rocket and missile strikes
Sustained rocket barrages targeted Israeli troop concentrations, positions, and settlements including Avivim, Metula, Shlomi, Zar’it, Nahariya, and Malikiya, with repeated strikes on gatherings in Ainata, Taybeh, Yir’on, and surrounding areas. The strikes were carried out in waves throughout the day, maintaining constant pressure across the northern front.

In the context of “Khaybar 2” operations, Hezbollah targeted key military infrastructure including the Stella Maris naval surveillance base in Haifa, the Nesharim base southeast of Haifa, Tefen base east of Acre, Meron air control base, Birya air defense base near Safad, and infrastructure in the Kiryot area north of Haifa. Additional strikes hit communication and surveillance systems, newly established positions, and coastal military sites, including Ras al-Naqoura.
