Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Even the US think tank believes that China and the US are currently decoupling.

China's top leadership and its people are ready to decouple, only those special interest groups (akin to Iran's reformists) are still clinging with the US relationship.

However, these people are becoming marginalized/sidelined day by day.
At the end of the day, it's 400 billion dollars per year! It's even more than Iran's nominal GDP at this point. Add the Chinese trade volume with anti-Iran Arabs to the equation as well.

Iran has no economic incentives to offer to China while it is under severe international sanctions. Our trade volume was exploding back in 2008, when Ahmadinejad was in power and the 4th round of UNSC sanctions hadn't been passed. Our trade volume was approaching $40 billion and was expected to surpass $100 billion in the next 10 years. Had China vetoed the UNSC resolutions, Iran and China could've been economic partners today.

That aside, I don't blame the Chinese for favoring their trade with the US over Iran at this point. My main issue with the CCP is their lack of willingness to say no when they can, like at the UN Security Council.

Also, when I compare China in early 2000s to today's China, I think China has become increasingly more West-leaning. I don't think this would change any time soon.

Yup, and the head of the Chaplin Corps advises on ethics, so I guess we know why he went...
Am sure you meant "Chaplain" not "Chaplin"....

...although the panicked way in which US is currently embarking upon its military offensive does lend itself to your original statement being completely appropriate.

In this era, the geopolitics should have higher priority than the economics.

Since the current global economy is already crap, and even you are striving for a better economy, you wouldn't get much better in result.

Most Chinese nationalists realize that ally with Iran could offer greater long term benefits than keep this toxic relationship with the US.

In fact, the China during 2000s was more pro-west than the current China with rising nationalism.

During the 2000s, China was fully controlled by the pro-west reformists, and these people have losing their power to the rising neo-nationalists, but they are still doing whatever they can to prevent China to fully decouple with the US.

However, everything will be in vain as China will fully decouple with the US, also to fully dominate them in all high tech domains.

everyone saying its F15 Strike Eagle

but 493rd Fighter Squadron at RAF Lakenheat flies F35 not F15?

so this is most likely a F35 did iRan use IRST again ?
People have identified it from 335th fighter squadorn.

Americans must be calling Indians on how to cope..............how to claim the pic is AI generated and what not.

Indians are masters of copium, can lend a hand or two to USAF here.

On a side note, there goes the unbeaten combat record of F-15s.........

bvr or wvr would not matter if they were painted by SAM, yes i agree that unlike what's being claimed they DO NOT have unrestricted control of the air space, they are vulnerable
So much for the overhyped US and Israeli intelligence capability............these F***ers still don't know how much fight Iranians have in them.........would love to see trump do a land invasion and get slaughtered in Iran.

I mean, freaking one month on and Iran is still launching missiles and drones at will and still able to damage or down your drones/F-15/F-35s.

For comparison

Soviet death toll in Afghanistan ≈ 10,000 and Russia death toll in Ukraine ≈ 300,000 (because of the modern lethal drones)

The US death toll in Vietnam ≈ 50,000 and the US death toll in Iran ≈ ??? (because of the modern lethal drones)

There's just too much misinformation on the internet.

Some people say there are different incidents and Iran has hit both an F-15 and an F-35. Nothing is confirmed though.

I agree with you that it's an F-35 as that was Iran's initial official statement as well. And it seems to fit one of the photos that was posted here.

the french ship paid 2 million to Iran to pass and there was somekind of "Huge french outreach towards Iran"

Iran is destroying western alliances

US has lost a lot for example Iran proved Aircarft carriers are obsolete in 21st warfare and just a big target. Americas 10-20 carriers are now obsolete. how much is that worth?
Aircraft carriers staying out of range of enemy missiles but still able to fully deploy their main offensive weapon (I.e. jets) are not "obsolete". Rather, they are fully continuing their function as a mobile, power projectional, runway.

I agree that they can't get too close now, but quite the opposite of obsolete mate!

With India, where comparisons will be drawn by us, the context is different. Their AC is obsolete because their ground bases could deploy comparable assets as easily as the Vikrant - they don't need long range force projection in areas where they don't have ground airbase coverage. India has wasted its money on an asset that hides further away than their normal airbases.

#BREAKING
French President Emmanuel Macron:

🔺 The Strait of Hormuz should only be opened in coordination with Iran.

Dear Trump..
plz insult this chump a bit more so that he aligns with Iran more. These Israel and US poodle would otherwise have never open there eyes. The masters have no compromise, 100% compliance or you are just worthless.

It is obsolete if you are dealing with a power that its A2/AD capability extends beyond Iran's 700km range. Iran's A2/AD capability seems to be restricted to 700km-1000km range, which is why the US aircraft carriers do not come closer. China can easily extend that range to 2,500km-3,000 km.

At that point, it is safe to say that an aircraft carrier becomes obsolete.

Iran remains adamant they have shot down the US Jet yesterday, publishing pics of Ejection Seat, Parts of Jet, videos of ongoing Searches for the US pilot and now, an official announcement by IRGC Spokesperson an hour ago, that they have shot down and F35 from LAKEN-HEATH squadron.
