Yes, but the fact that we haven't been able to shoot down a C-130, a flying coffin by all means, deep inside our territory after nearly 3 hours does not bode well for us.

Our troops should've been close to the area with MANPADs already.

Those planes are mots protected. MAWS and probably DIRCM equipped. Virtually inmune to MANPADS.
But 358 missile (TV guided?) could get one of those down.

The AC-130 is flying below the mountain range. So any long distant system wouldn’t be able to “see it” since the mountain would block the radars. Also there is curvature of the earth to take into account as well (this is why OTH radars are powerful since they bounce waves off the upper atmosphere).

So the only way you are hitting that C-130 is a manpad or a SHORAD that is within 10KM-20KM of it, which again why would a SHORAD be camping in a remote village? So that leaves just manpad.

The operation is likely already over - we are dealing with fog of war. I was first to report this and that was over 7 hours when news of the jet hit the wires. So either pilot(s) has already been rescued or iran has them.

They are arrogant they think they are supermen in reality its cos they never faced any resistance in for decades. Where they faced any real resistance since Vietnam tell me?
