At the end of the days the regional commander is responsible for how he defends his zone. I’m sure upper command will want to know why there wasn’t more manpads deployed.

But at the end of the day, this operation will serve as:

• A learning experience for Iran if a ground invasion is coming to plug gaps
• Clearer skies at least in the short term which will allow more advanced strike packages to be launched toward Israel and PGCC
• More valuable stand off munitions having to be expended by enemy
• A wake up call to Trump if he gets tricked by Hegseth about how easy a ground game would be

we need to see these jets shot down or 'crash' every day on a consistent basis for Trump to get the message and realise any incremental gains are not worth the risk (like in Yemen)
