Yes. Syria probably is helping actively or passively (let in replenish HZ).
Nobody likes al Jolani. But this guy have been bombed many times by israelis and I am sure one way or another he want to take revenge letting Hizbollah to make the dirty job of hitting them back.

There are tensions in Syria. Syria has been bombed by Israel many times in the past but more importantly Israel and US 'security concerns' are delaying Syrian reconstruction and development of the state.

Syrian leadership may find interest in a small skirmish to send message that Syria needs to rehabilitate or there won't be stability.

Not because of Iran, but it makes most sense to take such a gamble while Iran and Hezbollah are engaging Israel too.
