Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

textbooks from last century should be rewritten to adapt to new realities imo... I bet the one who wrote these lines never saw a country like Iran coming: a country with basically no air force but deadly missiles. well I guess the E-3 and KC-135 kills could fit the "defeat enemy air force while they are on the ground" narrative

As the Indian analyst repeatedly says: The US Military is the most powerful in the world but suited to fight the 20th century wars.
As to the Iranian 'Air Force', their missiles and drones are their 'Air Force'. They wisely didn't waste money on fighter jets given their circumstances, which are very different from the India-Pakistan wars.
Also, I believe, drones and FPV are going to become even more relevant in wars. No wonder Zelensky came to the Middle East so excited to offer his 'help'.

6th Iranian ballistic wave of the day to Israel — likely target is Haifa — maybe its energy industry

Iran must take out Haifa oil refinery in response to the attack on its petrochemical plant.

Keep sending wave after wave till multiple direct hits are reported and the plant is in essence functionally destroyed.

Unless it takes out a high value target like Haifa oil refinery it risks destruction of its own critical infrastructure by Zio-US.

I don't get why Iran has been all over the place recently. We were doing better in the first weeks of the war. It seems that we have added too many things to our list of targets and we have lost focus.

It's better to fully destroy or cripple one sector of the Emirati economy or a single multi-national billion dollar company than to damage multiple buildings here and there.

Yeah, Baseer is basically an Arabic term that means "one who sees", "capable of seeing".
They really love Arabic in the IRGC. The Persian term for Baseer is Bina (بینا).
the air force has a laser guided bomb named Bina

indeed the IRGC love Arabic/Quranic names, Qased/Qaem for IRGC vs Simorgh for ISA

Yikes dude bringing back retired planes doesn’t sound good

That's good. Oldie 707 KC135 flying extra hours because they cannot operate inside most of europeans airspace (specially when they refuel fighters) means more accidents and laundry fires.

And by the way. Those retired aircrafts doesn't have last IFF transponders and probably not encripted radios etc... If Islamic Republic cannot shoot down, they will fall alone or shoot down by friendly fire.

Loving how these are becoming daily scenes in Tel Aviv now. With Allah's help, this has only been made possible by Iran, otherwise the world had given up hope of these zionists ever getting a payback for what they have been doing .

This hopefully is just the start of Iran getting an upper hand, until the zionists are forced to either let everyone live in peace (impossible anyway), or leave.

Those who insist on a religious explanation for military success need to undergo a 'mental recalibration.' They must abandon these comfortable delusions and confront the cold, hard facts of human geography and sociology.
You back with your crap. You dont know what your talking about i would happily refute you but it will derail this discussion.

I would say this, the theocratic Iran and its leaders are not afraid to die for their cause, the GCC on the other hand their leaders are so scared of death they have the devil (US government) protecting them.

Speaking of which, what's your excuse for USAF‘s lousy performance so far? I mean things can't get more clear when a side by side comparison can be made: the IAF simply outperforms USAF by a sizeable margin, they havent lost anything yet except some expendable drones, while flying the same amoumt of sorties if not more

unironically for most neutral observers, the US military is quickly following suit of the Russians

They don't control even the White House, how the hell can they say something so crazy about dominion?

The only complete dominion It is from Netanyahu over those suckers.

I am compiling a table of confirmed/reported US material losses

the total material losses are more than $6 billion in jets, drones, and radars alone

this is excluding missile interceptors and offensive weapon costs, which adds another $15-20 billion

of course operating costs of this many jets and assets are also excluded
