Whatever the outcome is, this CSAR operation in itself is a success for the Iranians. This circus and fog of war is serving Iran well, lets see how much more damage they are able to inflict.

you think air force commanders are so retarded they cannot repair a single air strip or prepare one small area in Iran for a helicopter to take off?So you think US and Israel who have attacked a combined 20,000+ targets inside Iran…..forgot to target air bases after 5 weeks of war?

The helicopters are there because they have a trace on his PLB - they would not mount this if he was DEAD.
Please think for a moment. Thanks.
Take with a grain of salt, but source could have some legitimacy
They have him.Seems to me that Iran is at a massive disadvantage here though.
It a massive area. If the US has the location of the guy then they can easily create lots of confusions in different areas in the dark of the night, then land at the actual locaation, pick up the guy and leave.
On the Iranian side, they have to count on being lucky i finding the guy somehow.
Unless Iran can deny any landings at all for the US in the whole place, they can't really prevent this.
yes this was the WSO (second pilot)didnt they say they rescued one of the pilots on Friday?
There’s that total negativity should Iran have sent thousands of troops out in the open to retrieve this guy man if the Iraqis Hezbollah Houthis could put up fierce fights which much of the training coming from Iranian special forces I have to say Iran can and will handle a better than average fight if troops decide to enter Iran for a large invasionif the US truly rescued this bastard, then Trump will certainly launch a very bold ground invasion. and by this evidence, Artesh and IRGC have zero preparedness or competence to counter such an invasion, and it will go extremely badly for Iran.
