Clever or dumb does not matter when your homeland is attacked/invaded and regular forces are not available, its each and every able persons responsibility to defend homeland with whatever resouces they have, until Armed Forces arrive to take over.it's not clever at all, but I agree with you
I don't think with the current state Iran can defend. However, Iran's play will start when they are occupied, and challenge for us forces would be to retain control without significant losses. Not sure if it is worth it.I dont think those islands are defendable without high losses, constant supply and protection. They turn into a liability eventually.
Read though this and especially the details in the sub-tweet which details all of the 7 points. You can make what you want to make of it, but Iran is certainly doing something if the enemy is admitting that they are getting to the backfoot.

Did they get him ?
Yes, that's the only silver lining here that I can think of. But ironically, even though our enemies are running out of interceptors, we do not see a meaningful increase in our destructive power. That's what worries me. Our target selection in Week 5 wasn't that good.Enemy interceptor stocks are decreasing, Iran is selling oil again, the war is unpopular in the US, the enemy can't crack the missile bases, Europe has broken with the US, AD is still up and US still lost 3 aircraft in one day. You should look at this more as a guerilla war than a conventional war because that's what it is. Every setback isn't defeat and some losses will happen. You and Persian Gulf are spreading defeatism while people in Iran standing tall and resisting.
---Have faith . No one believed Iran could last this long .Yes, that's the only silver lining here that I can think of. Do you seriously think that the USN cannot target Iranian oil tankers in the Arabian Sea or the Indian Ocean? Do you think Iran is selling oil because of military reasons? We can't even escort our tankers.
The Vietnam War was unpopular in the US. It lasted 2 f*cking decades.
Europe is still pretty much in an alliance with the US. Do you know why Europeans are not interested in this war? First and foremost, immigration. They do not want a failed state with 93 million Muslims next to Europe. Also, Iran is the only thing that keeps Afghan immigrants from going to Turkey and Europe. After that, they have economic reasons. None of this means that Europe has broken with the US.
Our AD is still functional but it is not performing as wonderfully as people here like to claim. They have had thousands of sorties over Iran in the last 36 days and we have shot down only an F-15.
Also, we failed to shoot down a C-130 that was deep inside our territory for several hours.
You really need to differentiate between criticism and defeatism. If valid criticisms had not been overlooked in the last 20 years, we wouldn't have been in this situation in the first place.
Live long and prosperWhat sources were these people(x accounts) using saying he's alive? My Vulcan side tells me it's a recovery not a rescue.
The Artesh and Sepah Ground forces have only one job right now. It is to conceal and preserve survive their combat forces for the time that they are actually needed. You people want them to come out from under concealment to give away their positions to chase one U.S WSO and risk getting decimated by U.S/Israeli Air attacks is totally armature.Going into Week 6 of this war, I am yet to understand why we have been funding the Artesh for all these years.
The IRIAF was absolutely absent in both wars. The IRIN lost nearly all of its assets in a week. And I have seen nothing from the IRIGF and the IRIAA either.
And yes, if this is how we are going to perform on the ground, we will be cooked when a ground invasion starts.
it seems every branch of the army thinks its job is to disappear and survive during wartimeThe Artesh and Sepah Ground forces have only one job right now.
