Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

The military was telling Iranians to stay away from the site.

What nonsense is this? Especially when the military themselves were taking their own advice and in hiding ('we need to stay in the shadows, bro').

I would have mobilised half the damn country to find that pilot. You don't get opportunities like this twice.

But it's over. So now we have the end of Trump's 48 hour deadline to look forward to. Iran still refuses to do significant damage to Saudi Arabia's oil and gas facilities, so we can expect further significant infrastructure losses.

We also have Bahrain's UNSC proposal to look forward to.

Its okay man, you are fighting asymmetric war against the best military in the world right now.

Let us now move on ... What's done is done. Iran needs to focus on hitting Israeli sites and prepare for ground invasions and raids
This was 40km from Isfahan, their 2nd second largest city and home to their largest nuclear facility. If American forces managed to land on the ground, rescue their pilot, wait for another rescue plane to land and then evacuate all without a single casualty how are they going to stop a ground invasion?

Those fkers should drown in their own filthy sunni monarchy bahrainjs already want to overthrow that regime

Where is UN human rights when that Bahraini political prisoner was tortured they should have zero say

don't be surprised if Trump now authorises commando raids into IRGC-ASF SSM bases. if they can send hundreds of special forces 40km south of Esfahan without being detected for hours, they can already reach dozens of SSM bases easily.

Sure but the casualties would be huge.

why! its a war you win some battles you lose some! overall picture matters!

odds are not in favour of Iran the military might of west vs Iran.30 odd days have raised alll our expectations and we expect Iran to win all the rounds but thats not happening...just hope and pray Iran wins the war!
Supporting failures of Iran blindly will help no one. Iran had plenty of time to capture the pilot(s) when the location of downed aircraft was known.

It's a failure of coordination, Iran is now probably preparing for ground invasion by fighting a gruelling attrition guerilla war. It is the best way to do so anyway. When you consider they have divided their army into cells, Iraqtried conventionally and it did not work!

Iran need proper command& control

What is truly surprising and shocking is not that they managed to save the crew, but that in all the records of the incident, not a single member of the military or the IRGC is visible. We have instead seen police officers and regular civilians participating in the operation. What on earth? Heads need to roll.

Dude, you just remind me of what a lot of Chinese were like when 1937 Nanking the capital city was fallen to the Japanese and people crying of surrender within the ruling party KMT and started all sorts of blaming.

Again. Failure of coordination

There's one thing I've been thinking about for the past few days: I understand why the Iranians would strike the GCC, and I'm completely fine with that; I would have done the same. But why not target Jordan? The palace and bases where the money king allows Western forces to offload supplies to Israel.
