That's my point their was no conventional force more than 24 hours after a plane was shot down. It questions the ability of Iran of being able to organize and transport forces effectively. I think the reality is that any operation in Karg island, the coast or uranium extract once again the only effective military response will be missiles and drones, which is not enough.

it will mount alot of casualties. it is pretty small so ur able to saturate it with drones and missiles .

mr Trump is too overconfident im glad iran has been humbled a bit so they will be alot more focused.

I have decided to give it another 24 hours before judging the situation.

Even if the US had one killed in action, that would render the whole operation a total failure because they rescued two pilots that would've become POWs with a dead soldier!

Of course, this won't make our poor performance any better, but it will change the outcome of the US operation drastically different.

I am also very angry for not capturing the pilot but look at this.We managed to shoot down one F15 one a10 two Hercules ,destroyed one chinook in kuwait and damage two cobras in less than 36 hours.Not bad at ali.

I still haven't seen a convincing argument on why capturing this pilot was important or worth expending lives and resources for. We know they targeted all "military age males" and have full air cover, so I assume the people who are mad Iran didn't send troops out to get bombed just want to see Iranians killed for no reason, which you might since all you do on here is post negative news.
And as I have said multiple times, this is a guerilla war. The strategy should be striking and slowly attriting any bases or footholds enemy troops manage to get from a distance while avoiding open warfare in which we are massively disadvantaged. Ground forces should be used to defend launch bases and population centers. The goal should be to continue disrupting sea traffic and enemy infrastructure while maintaining launch capability. If you are throwing thousands of men away to contest land that ultimately doesn't benefit the war effort, then that is simply bad, short-sighted strategy. They will take Kharg if they really try to, but they will then have to hold it and it will not stop drone or missile launches against energy fields in the PGCC.

Yeah, be good to get a total tally so far actually.

The E-3s, KC-135s, Compass Call C-130s, a Chinook, the 3 F-15Es.

People here do not realise, the rate at which US aircraft losses its astonishing. Much higher then anything since Vietnam, and again, much of it unreplaceable.

Take out F-35s that are being produced en mass, this goes on for another 4 weeks at the same rate, then US will have to downsize squadrons and wings.....
