Breaking News: Martyrdom of Lebanese Forces official Pierre Maawad in the Yahshoush area in the hills of Ain Saade, while his wife remains under the rubble

The rescue operation of the downed pilot doesn’t look good for Iran. It means with areal cover us forces can seize some land. Iran should have demolished the operation.

On the contrary, it looks EXTREMELY bad for the americans, the alleged greatest military in the entire history of mankind to have 2 C-130 hercules and 2 military helicopters destroyed most likely by the Iranian military with likely loss of life that has been covered up.

The image was released in the initial batch of photos of the site. I heard about hours ago. Iran also never claimed it but OSINT happened to notice it.

You need to relax.

One of the biggest victory along with military victories of IRGC is that they never for a single hour allowed the enemy to touch Iranian economy (through tit-for-tat deterrence). IRI is still selling oil at around ~2 MBPD since the war started while choking the rest. The greater the differential against PGCC, the better the IRI will be in position to dominate the market post war.
Destroying our steel facilities and petrochemical facilities will have massive impacts on our economy

Trump has leaned on the “madman theory” of foreign relations: say outrageous things, make threats, and others fall in line especially with U.S. power behind you. But it breaks down when your adversary sees backing down as existential. That’s where we are with Iran. Now Trump’s only move—more threats—carries less credibility each time. That’s how you box yourself into escalation and a quagmire.

But even if we were to magically reprogram his brain to Lincoln's or JFK's, I don't know how escalation and quagmire could be avoided. While he is less than ideal for circumstance, situation is more difficult for anyone to solve.
