If his hubris prevails, things will get a lot worse before they get better and Iran will not surrender. This is what worries me. Trump needs to cut his losses and not let Netanyahu et-al influence him any more. Which is easier said than done.

Trump is getting a pretty rough deal here within the USA. Even his earlier supporters are now turning against him due to his policies, especially since this war has started.
I fear that things would get worse; the USA is going to attack Iran viciously in the coming days.
As for Israel, it definitely wants the USA to get more involved and strike Iran harder than it has been doing. Basically, in my opinion, Israel has no options left; if Iran is allowed to stand, it means it would get recognition and power in the local hood. Israel has already lost its invincibility in the area; now even the forces within southern Lebanon are giving Israel a tough time.
The only chance the Gulf countries had to get rid of Israeli influence and control was to hit Israel so hard that its population flees and never comes back. Once it loses the majority of its population, it is done.
The only question is how long Iran can stand and how much further punishment it can take. Everything hinges on it.
Something serious has happened yesterday in the rescue operation. We probably would never know due to secrecy. But I have this suspicion: whatever had happened had enraged President Trump, and he is going to get nasty, I am certain of it. I pray for everyone's safety. The wars are not the solution. We humans should evolve better and sort out our differences without violence. Let's all pray it never goes to the point of no return for humanity. But I am certain when Israel feels it is on the point of non-existence, it would do the unthinkable or push America to do it.

You see, just now Pakistan decided to give back the billions to UAE because UAE had some specific expectations of Pakistan in this conflict, which the Pakistani 'system' could not accept. What is lost on some of the detractors is that for good or bad, the establishment does what it needs to in order to protect the state. It may not be popular, it may not even be moral, but it will do what it thinks is in Pakistan's interests. And right now making peace, and not coming under undue influence of the likes of the UAE etc. is one.
