Not at all, they saved Iran from a war of attrition. This would have been a pointless fight until Iran would have run out of missiles.

Likely a large number of lives, infra, etc has been saved. We know nothing else yet so lets look at the outcome, Iran has given 10 points which are looking acceptable. that should be fine.

Iran opening the strait for a 2 week ceasefire is a joke and a farce. Seems Mojataba and the IRGC are all dead.

Iran can and will close the Strait after two weeks if the other side doesn't agree with the terms of the 'ceasefire' and would be able to bomb Israel as been happening in last 5 weeks.
