This is a temporary truce because the war is not yet over. The Gulf states don't want it, even though they are complicit, and Israel hasn't accepted it. America's treachery is certain. Therefore, the solution, as some have said, is for Iran to use this time to rearm and assess the situation in Israel and the Gulf. The damage to Israel is far less than to Iran. The Iranians haven't destroyed essential infrastructure, such as desalination plants and the Ashdod refinery, which could paralyze Israel. This has emboldened them to inflict greater damage on Iran because they haven't been sufficiently deterred. Well it's the temporary ceasefire and US can't be trusted and isreal is definitely pissed off.
Its based on Iran,s terms so that's definitely a defeat of US. Next two weeks isreal will work hard to drag US back on week. Though already humiliated US will look for off ramp. And this whole thing raised geo political profile of Pakistan even further. Pakistan definitely played a big role in this. In the coming days it would be interesting to watch Indian channels lol. Specially jealous and pissed off Gaurav Arya,Goswami and subedar GD Bakhshi.
