I have no problems if anyone believes Iran 'won' the war.You are not wrong. Except, this does not necessarily mean it holds ultimate importance in every scenario and you are just probably overstating it's importance.
If anything, this conflict has demonstrated that even without a traditional air force, a war can still be fought, and tactical, operational and strategic victories can still be achieve on different terms. Despite all the flexibility the US possesses, it was still unable to strategically arm wrestle Iran. Which is why they are always considering to invade to establish some leverage.
Overwhelming air superiority might succeed against a militarily weaker nation, but limitations emerge when facing a country with massive strategic depth, rugged mountainous terrain, and capabilities (have to give credit where is due) to build extensive underground bases. They have utilised their natural advantages well and have at least leveled close to the playing field.
Iran has also shown that advanced jets and drones can be effectively nullified when cleverly countered with other tactical options, such as "SAMbushes" and loitering munitions.
This approach will likely serve as a template for other nations defending against adversaries with an overwhelming air force though some nations may not be blessed with the geographic advantages Iran has.
History will remember it as islamabad accords. More love to my city.Well it's the temporary ceasefire and US can't be trusted and isreal is definitely pissed off.
Its based on Iran,s terms so that's definitely a defeat of US. Next two weeks isreal will work hard to drag US back on week. Though already humiliated US will look for off ramp. And this whole thing raised geo political profile of Pakistan even further. Pakistan definitely played a big role in this. In the coming days it would be interesting to watch Indian channels lol. Specially jealous and pissed off Gaurav Arya,Goswami and subedar GD Bakhshi.
Nonsense speculationNo, my friend, you are totally out of touch with what is happening in wars: 100% of war analysts(including geopolitics experts from Brazil) agree that air and naval forces are no longer useful in modern warfare. It is much more expensive, requires maintenance, needs a human to pilot and years of study to become ready (they can be killed or captured), maintenance is extremely expensive, they can be shot down even if they are "invisible". Missiles and drones are the future of war, Iran is fighting because it used its own strategy, if it waged a conventional war against the US it would be destroyed in 1 or 2 days at most. Ukraine confronts Russia using the same strategy, and Russia confronts NATO using the same strategy.
NOTE: In 48 hours, Iran shot down 12 US aircraft, which is a record.
Well old man ask yourself a question and decide.I have no problems if anyone believes Iran 'won' the war.
Russia maybeHistory will remember it as islamabad accords. More love to my city
Not some gangu Accord .
Pakistan is the only country in the world that enjoys good relationships with three great powers US,China and Russia.
...(continue)... and has now helped mediate an end to Gulf War III.
^ not true?
Whatever good role pakistan played in this also benefitted you foul mouthed indians as well. The war was hurting your economy very badly. Way more than it was hurting ours. But definitely you won't accept it and continue to bark on us.Just woke up, glad to see armageddon avoided.
