I think the end of this war will come down to these three major points that both America and Iran have to agree to.
1. HEU
2.The rest of the LEU
3. Enrichment rights
American and Iranian might want 2/3, 3/3, 1/3 of these three demands in order to stop the war and save some faces.

You are correct.

You are wrong.

I was active duty, F-111E RAF Upper Heyford, when Ronald Raygun presented the 'Star Wars' or Strategic Defense Initiative missile defense. Most, including many scientists, laughed at him. But not the Soviets. Not because Raygun was of any scientific minded intellect, but because the Soviets knew well how far ahead was American scientific prowess compared to their own.

Fast forward to Iron Dome and Patriot.

I was not surprised when those systems proved themselves in combat. Of course, they were not %100 successful, but when each system reached %50 success rate, bullet to bullet interception was essentially complete.

Here is why you are wrong...And I will NOT use any 'classified' info to prove you wrong...Just logic and common sense...

1. Farm field
2. Parking lot
3. Army HQ
4. Jet fuel depot
5. Hospital

Let us say I have 10 interceptor missiles.

Why would I assign 2 per? Why would I care if the enemy attack the farm field or the parking lot?

Now I have 10 interceptors for 3 sites or 3 per.

3. Army HQ
4. Jet fuel depot
5. Hospital

Of those three, which is the most important? Believe it or not, it is not the Army HQ. In peace time, all units have their own assigned plans and executables. All the HQ does is storage for paperwork. Combatant commanders have nothing to do with HQ.

4. Jet fuel depot
5. Hospital

So now I have 10 interceptors for two sites, or 5 per, for defense. Do you see the point here?

Make no mistake, the Israelis are using much more complex defense calculus for their Iron Dome system than what I presented above. Do not think that every time you saw a Hezbollah or Houthi missile landed on Israeli soil, it was a success. Each attacker was calculated on where it will land and the system responded according to whatever priority the Israeli commanders deemed appropriate. The system is not perfect, but good enough for the Israelis to bear any failure.
And lately most Irani missiles landed on isreali civilian areas. That's a utter failure.
Now since it's a ceasefire let the fog of war settle and you will find out about true number of US and isreali casualties. There was a reason behind that censor ship.

Whatever good role pakistan played in this also benefitted you foul mouthed indians as well. The war was hurting your economy very badly. Way more than it was hurting ours. But definitely you won't accept it and continue to bark on us.

:ROFLMAO:

Trump agreed to a 2-week ceasefire because he is more worried about losing the mid-term election to the democrats and lose control of both houses. He will then be a lame-duck president.
If nothing comes out of the Islamabad talks after 2-weeks he can always unleash his "lapdog " Israel on lran.
Either way Trump loses!
Iran will unfortunately suffer but it seems they are ready for it or at least the Iranian regime is.
So buy as much oil and gas in the coming 2 weeks while the strait is open.

‘Don’t repeat mistakes,’ China tells UN Security Council after vetoing Strait of Hormuz resolution

Draft resolution proposed by Bahrain ‘failed’ to capture ‘root causes, full picture’ of US-Israeli conflict with Iran, says Ambassador Fu Cong

China on Tuesday urged the UN Security Council to learn from past mistakes as it voted down a resolution on the Strait of Hormuz, which remains under Iran’s effective control amid the continuing war with the US and Israel.

Addressing the Security Council, Ambassador Fu Cong said the draft resolution brought by Bahrain “fails to capture the root causes and full picture of the conflict in a comprehensive and balanced manner.”

The council failed to pass the resolution, which called for coordinated "defensive" measures to ensure freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, after Russia and China rejected it, exercising their power of veto as permanent members of the top UN body.

The draft resolution got 11 votes in favor. Colombia and Pakistan abstained.

Fu said the failed resolution “contains one-sided condemnation and pressure.”

“Such language is highly susceptible to misinterpretation,” he warned.

In an oblique response to US President Donald Trump’s threat that “whole civilization will die tonight” as his deadline nears for reaching a ceasefire agreement with Iran, Fu said: “At a time when the United States is openly threatening the very survival of civilization, the current hostilities imposed on Iran are very likely to further escalate.”

The draft resolution, if adopted, would have sent a “wrong message” with “very serious concerns,” Fu said.

I have no problems if anyone believes Iran 'won' the war.
The did not win, but they did not lose too badly either. Their government is diminished but exists, they found a new strategic tool called Hormuz that can use as a choke point. That is not 'losing' it. A bit like Vietnam war. Hard to call it a win for Vietnam, but not a win for U.S. But the war is not over. It will be a miracle if enriched uranium and free passage through Hormuz can be solved to the satisfaction of both sides.

Iranian Envoys in Russia and China Praise Veto of Anti-Iran Resolution at UN Security Council

Iran.Russia.China

(Apr 07) – Iran’s ambassadors to Russia and China have praised Moscow and Beijing for vetoing an anti-Iran draft resolution at the United Nations Security Council, describing the move as a sign of “wisdom” in confronting unilateralism and unlawful pressure against Tehran.

According to diplomatic sources, Kazem Jalali, Iran’s ambassador to Russia, and Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli, Iran’s ambassador to China, issued a joint statement published on X, their personal Instagram accounts, and the official social media pages of Iran’s embassies in both countries.

In their message, the two envoys described Russia and China’s veto as a significant stand against efforts to legitimize international pressure on Iran.

“The action taken by Russia and China in vetoing the anti-Iran resolution at the Security Council reflects the prudence of these countries on the international stage in opposing Trump’s unlawful and unilateral policies aimed at global destabilization in pursuit of the narrow interests of the Zionist regime,” the statement said.

The ambassadors also stressed that Iran, Russia, and China stand “on the same front” and described the three countries as “friends in difficult times,” adding that the Iranian people “will not forget this vote.”

The statement came after the UN Security Council failed to adopt a draft resolution on the Strait of Hormuz — a text reportedly proposed by Bahrain and backed by several Arab Gulf states. According to available reports, the draft could have created a legal basis for the use of force to ensure freedom of navigation through the strategic waterway.

Russia and China blocked the resolution by exercising their veto power. Colombia and Pakistan also abstained, highlighting deep divisions within the Security Council over how to respond to tensions surrounding the Strait of Hormuz.

Reports indicate that the draft resolution would have authorized UN member states to use “all necessary means,” including military force, to guarantee maritime transit through the Strait of Hormuz and prevent any attempt to block or interfere with international navigation in the area.

That language reportedly faced serious opposition from the outset. Diplomatic sources said Russia and China, along with France, opposed any wording that could legitimize the use of force against Iran and sought to prevent the Security Council from becoming a vehicle for authorizing military action.

As a result, the failure of the draft resolution means that, for now, efforts by some regional actors to turn the Strait of Hormuz issue into an internationally sanctioned mechanism for military and legal pressure on Iran have encountered a significant obstacle — one shaped this time by the vetoes of Moscow andPin clipboard items to stop them expiring after 1 hour Beijing.
