I am beginning to believe Omanis are the smartest among Persian Gulf Arabs. Quiet, cold planning types. Now they will enjoy the billions from toll and full IRI (and Yemeni) cover all for free, still in good books of US as well. Most stupid and gullible are Saoodis, UAE, Bahrainis who were sold the idea that hosting Israeli and US, EU military/intel on their soil will benefit them somehow. Literally their CIA planted royal families boosted about hosting Israeli intel on their soil against Iran openly. What did that achieve for them?

Its true Iran fought alone against 8 Nations including worlds "super power" + NATO support and now US accepts Irans demands for ceasefire Clear victory for Iran.

If the ceasefire holds then I think it will be some kind of proof that Trump wasn't being blackmailed by Israel with Epstein files.

Here are some facts for you:

1. The Iranian parliament is yet to vote on the bill for leaving the NPT, even though it was proposed with the highest urgency.
2. Israel has hit the Lavan refinery and the Siri island after the ceasefire came into effect. Iran has reported these incidents as "explosions of unknown origin".
3. Qatar has already called Iran "an aggressor" and has called on Iran to pay reparations.
4. Israel is still advancing in the south of Lebanon and says Lebanon is not included in the ceasefire.
5. Trump has already contradicted his earlier post on TS, rejecting Iran's 10-point proposal as a base for negotiations.
6. Kushner and Witkoff will attend the US negotiations with Iran.
7. Just in: JD Vance says Trump's patience with Iranians is over, i.e. he is threatening us. He says Iranians should not underestimate "President Trump".

And all of this has happened less than 12 hours after accepting the ceasefire!

Per Trump, China helped them convince Iran to accept the ceasefire. So, we were most likely pushed to accept the ceasefire by China and Russia against the wish of our armed forces. They probably made it clear to us that we should either accept the ceasefire, or the resolution would be passed at the UNSC.

They didn't lift the sanctions on Iran. They allowed their allies to buy our oil to control oil prices. That is completely different from lifting sanctions. The US primary, secondary and UNSC sanctions are still in place.

Zarif talked about our terms of surrender and it happened a few days after that. Do you still think that the IRGC calls the shots?

It is indeed not good as China has already received the chips war and covid as the gifts during Trump's first term.

It is only a matter of time it becomes a full blown WWIII with the US problems might be much bigger than most people have realized.

I don't know about dalal status of Pakistan or India. But I observerd that wins/losses between India and Pakistan are somewhat evenly distributed since 1947.

Only few years back Indians were 'winning' because of their strong ties with Americans, they were Quad allies etc and Pakistan was on the backfoot. Table has turned now, enjoy it while it lasts.

Probably because Iran's 'mosaic' military setup where individual commanders are not fully in sync due to the intense war on Iran. It should be sorted out soon.
Even the NY Times is calling it Trump's 'off-ramp'. The ceasefire is real but will take time to fully establish. However, Israel should not be allowed to getaway by taking south Lebanon; that a key factor.
