Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Let’s remember

JD Vance is running for president in 2028

He is the one who is going to get asked what did you do to get a ceasefire with Iran by his supporters

He will say I made the peace talks work and secured the ceasefire

I cleaned up Trumps mess

So it’s very much in JV Vance interest to make sure he gets a deal with Iran in Islamabad

The stakes couldn’t be higher for him

It’s interesting that the leading negotiator from the American side is actually JD Vance

Marco Rubio is not even mentioned

The teams Americans are sending is already the best for the negotiations

This is a good start but not over until the final agreement is reached

Pakistan side there is representatives from Army chief of staff

Also Pakistani defence minister delegation

Seems like Pakistan wants to weigh in its heavy military presence to help the Iranians weigh in

If Iran was smart they should insist on IAEA inspectors to be required on every Israeli site for the next 30 years.

Absolutely

I never understood this

Iran or any country's response to this should be clear

Israel is a undeclared nuclear state
Israel is also a apartheid state
Israel has wanted war criminals as leaders
Israel is occupying territory of multiple states
Israel has attacked multiple states

Israel allegedly has a illicit nuclear weapons program outside of any IAEA oversight

If anyone wants Iran or any country to submit to inspections
Then the response should be ISRAEL FIRST, once inspections of Israel are carried out any illicit nuclear weapons program ended and dealt with then Iran or others will comply

What's the point of the U.S or west protecting Israeli nuclear weapons programs after all that Israel does and then points fingers at Iran or others

As far as Keir Starmer, I have my doubts. Analysts have said that Starmer is trying to be on the good side of Trump by presenting the 30-country coalition which is basically a Nothing Burger.
Any coalition or no coalition should be willing to shed blood to take control of the Strait and that's not any country wants to do--not even the Americans.

A Royal Bahraini Air Force (RBAF) F-16 Block 70 fighter scored the type’s first air-to-air kill on April 1 against a pair of Iranian drones, a source familiar with the incident tells Aviation Week.

How can you even call that a achievement lol

It is fair to say that U.K. and America now have a “special toxic relationship “ 😊 .

The toll system in SOH will be tricky for Iran if its put in indefinitely.

A reasonable compromise may be for Iran to tally up its economic loss - lets say if its $100bn then tolls will run until the damages have been recovered. An independent auditor can be nominated to confirm the money recovered.

Nations which supported the war direct or indirect, who have sanctioned Iran will be under toll. There will be exceptions for countries like Spain, Slovenia, Belgium, Ireland, lower rates or no rates for friendly countries. No Israeli ships allowed, no US military ships allowed to use the Strait.

If Oman doesnt want to be part of it, a separate account for Oman is setup they are paid annually and its up to them if they want to give that money back.

I think this is a reasonable compromise.

National Security!
National security will always trump economic windfall. Iran can do bilateral deals with a lower toll but the waterway has essentially become a corridor for powers around the workd to foment and foist wars on the region... for energy and political reasons. I know the statelets inside will squirm and holler but they BROUGHT it upon themselves.

They got to enjoy an outsized role on the back of energy they sold and money they could squander to buy shiny toys and massive foreign bases. Qatar already learned the lesson on where they stand in tbe pecking order irrespective of all the money and gift they splurged in buying security... Emirates doesn't even consider itself part of the region. This has to a be permanent to clear the power vacuum that these iterations of a bygone era return to earth.

Oman is irrelevant to this discussion... they never had ambitions, kept their head down when others flaunted and simply fo not have the numbers needed to level up. It will however be upto Iran to keep their escrow whatever they can decide down the road... because it will be Iran enforcing it... again owing to it's size, geography, demographics and security of the region.

About time states from the region level up to the challenges at hand.
