Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

In your analogy, Iran sends SAMs to protect Delhi. You have equated this to Pakistan's deployment in KSA. But the analogy neglects to include the mediation effort being made in Iranian interests.

Do you actually think Islamabad would be angry at a nation that sought to genuinely resolve a war between Pakistan and India while preserving Pakistani interests?
The real point is does this Iranian poster see Pakistan Saudi relations and sensitivities the same as Iranian Indian relations and the sensitivities, is one really the same as the other?

That to me is the real question. Because that then brings equivalence between India and Saudi Arabia, from the Iranian perspectives.

That would be crazy if true.

What exactly is not clear? You’re sending millitary forces to a country that is participating in a war against us. This is while we are your guests. Obviously I am not going it celebrate it.
Pak should and would avoid any extreme approach. According to game theory, "tit for tat" benefits in the long run. We have to cooperate on both sides.

If Pak won't send some military, it will spoil our relations with the SA, which is not good for the region (a weak SA is vulnerable to israel) and Pak. By sending some, it doesn't unbalance the equation against IRGC.

An 'extremist' approach that we should cut off all ties with the Gulf, as they are providing bases, is not wise. If the enemy is coercing them, we should not abandon them, as it is not their free will or choice.

If you read my first post, I was replying to

«Pakistan has sent fighter jets and other military forces to Saudi Arabia»

And I replied that it’s a stab in the back if true.
Can't help you, Pakistan Saudi military cooperation has been extensive and ongoing forever.

If you think something happening now is exceptional then where have you been?

Apparently Pakistan also doing missile tests, not sure if anyone can confirm.

If true, who do you think that is for.

No. I said India attacks Pakistan through UAE bases, and Iran arms UAE with hypersonics.

I can say with 100% certainty that I would condemn such a move from Iran, even more so if we do it while hosting you as guests in our country
Well then your analogy is even more questionable as Pakistan is not arming ANYONE with ANY offensive capabilities, let alone "hypersonics"!

I get that Iranians are edgy about all this and there is some validity to your criticism of Pakistani setting up defensive assets in KSA (I personally am not satisfied that KSA has conducted itself well enough over the last 2 decades, never mind the last 2 months, to warrant our assistance presently), but the caveats are relevant in this context, and those caveats are that Pakistan is trying to find an acceptable off ramp for the belligerent parties that is not prejudicial to Iranian interests.

I doubt you will be assuaged by this reality though and we will simply have to disagree on this point.

What do you call sending war planes? Saudi chose to ally itself with US and Israel in this war against Iran. If the reports are true and Pakistan is indeed sending warplanes to Saudi, that means Pakistan has sided with the aggressors against Iran. Its that simple. I don’t understand the need to beat around the bush. It is what it is.

If true this is huge. They can make a full millitary agreement out of these peace talks and have direct head to head talks with centcom. Also shows trust and approval from true power brokers in iran (irgc) in negotiations

What do you call bombing a whole region and causing economic pain to your neighbors?

Iran is causing harm to pakistan economically and strategically, it's that simple

Now if the Pakistan thinking was as above you would consider it intentionally one dimensional and selective

It is really totally non-sense to even bring up Pakistan 'betraying' Iran. There would be riots in Pakistan, even a civil war, if Pakistan done so. Iranians know that and that's why, to the best of my knowledge, the Iranian officials have not said one word against Pakistani govt or the people in last 40+ days. And Iranians are in Pakistan in the Islamabad Talks right now and it looks like more Iranians are coming to Pakistan to be part of the ongoing Talks.
But I can understand if some Iranians are nervous: Their country is was badly hurt in this war and so emotions, even paranoia, is high. We need to make an allowance for that.

I would even say, Pakistan would have taken Iran into confidence about the situation

Explaining the pact and the necessity for Pakistan to turn up in Saudi

I know emotions are high, but I think the Iranians understand the situation and are fine with it

And hopefully arrangements have been made to ensure no misunderstandings happen

The real enemy are the Zionists and we can't forget that

You know as well as i do that they are good at shooting down drones, from Ukraine to the Gulf fighter jets have been doing exactly this. They don't necessarily launch bombing runs every time they take to the skies and they certainly won't against Iran.

I thought this was obvious given the nature of the assets deployed.

You mean bombing countries hosting US bases used to bomb us? Don’t blame us, we didn’t start this war.

No, this is a setup to kill them all. There's no need for them to go there; this is probably all staged. Everyone who died there was like that; they went to meetings to make "agreements."
