The best end point for this from Iran’s view should be finally make the bomb if already has not and openly go nuclear. The current status quo cannot continue any longer if its enemies do not back off, and they will not.

Trump is a man child and only cares about his image. In the past Iran should have given him an ultimatum “ either fully pull back and release all sanctions or we’ll go nuclear whilst you’re in office”. Trump would rather have hundreds of dead Americans soldiers than be the president under whome Iran went nuclear. Iran did not do this and now look at this mess.

The Israelis cannot afford to see Iran go nuclear or watch its missile and uav program grow exponentially which is why they attacked Iran this second time around. And they will keep taking the hit every few years just to contain Iran’s programs so this issue will keep recurring unless Iran breaks the cycle and changes the equation by going nuclear.

Yep - airlines have another 3 weeks left it seems.

Oil prices from start of trading tonight, will be interesting to watch.

Additionally, in Europe is now entering spring/summer where temperatures have risen and people tend to start going out alot more, travelling and sight seeing. This is typically an uptick in fuel usage, which will translate into shortages earlier as stocks are used up more quickly.

The chance of the Republicans losing the Senate is negligible because the Democrats have to flip all republican seats and get one more independent seat as well.

Pakistan was the best place as the “ mediator” We have relations with China, America,& Saudis. Pakistanis are seen by Tehran as a neutral country in this, no US military bases in PAK.. So you see we had no conflict of interest. Pakistan standing was respected by all as a neutral mediator. Why talks took place in Pakistan.

Dude, you are being insufferable.
Nobody is talking about Pakistan or her role as "the mediator". You love to insert Pakistan into the discussion even when it is absolutely irrelevant because a failed meeting was held in Islamabad. As if that's the only thing that has mattered after 40 days of war with two of the world's most powerful nuclear states!

The issue is not who mediates what. I cannot care less about who the mediator is. The mediator can be a village in Luxembourg for all I care. The issue is that the US and Iran cannot reach a lasting truce without one side accepting defeat. This is the heart of the matter. Neither Iran, nor the United States, is ready for giving up on their core demands because this war hasn't ended yet. This war is far from over to sit at the negotiating table.

We are talking about the fate of war, which can fundamentally change the region for the decades to come, not Pakistan or her role as the mediator. So, please stop being so obsessed with yourself.
 
I agree that Iran has “won” this conflict but this was done by the virtue of it denying the Americans their objective and exposing the Americans to be much weaker than the perception they had created about their power. However this is NOT enough and should not be seen enough from Iran’s point of view. Unless the Iranians have the capacity to inflict significant damage to the actual American homeland then they cannot smile. So it’s time for Iran to dispense with this moronic no nuclear weapon policy. If at this point there is still anyone in Iran who is still pushing for a no nuclear weapon policy then they are either traitors or mentally challenged so either way the IRGC should go nuclear.

Talks will continue thru the back door channels . There will be more talks Thanks to Pakistan setting up this formal meeting Very unfortunate on here we have people spouting nonsense on Pakistan role being minor. Very frustrating why did we bother at all.
 
The Americans cannot imposed a naval blockage, they barely dared to come within a 1000km range of Iran during the conflict and were basically begging for anyone to come and help. Even if they were able to pull such a thing off and risk pulling the Chinese in the conflict then Iran would simply wipe out any production capacity of Saudis and other regional states to produce the oil. Iran has said for years that if they can’t export their oil the no one else will either.

Trump’s only options at this point is to back off. He is a malignant narcissist so can’t bare the idea of his image being ruined or not being in control so it’s hard to expect rationality from this creature.
