Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

I never said Israel was fully rational. Obviously it isn't. But when it comes to its nuclear weapons stash, it in fact is. Or it would have used a weapon of that magnitude by now.
But they never had a reason to use nukes. They always dominated their wars with conventional weapons. Who knows what they're capable of if their conventional capabilities prove not to be enough?

What are you two even discussing? The US could sink our ships, but I doubt they’re going to sink Chinese ships with cargo to or from Iran. So how are they to impose a naval blockade on us if China decides that there’s no blockade?
Did China try to break the U.S. naval blockades on Venezuela or Cuba for you to raise such a scenario?

In any case, I guess we’ll find out:

US Navy to start 'blockading any and all ships' trying to enter or leave Strait of Hormuz, says Trump

The orange idiots next strategic move - and also in violation of the ceasefire if he tries to do it before the 2 week pause is over ..
In other words they’re going to help Iran to make sure strait remains closed

Israel yes is in fact a rational actor regarding nuclear weapons. Israel has had nuclear weapons for decades and is not used them because it knows it would be committing natural suicide

...Each odd day, Katz, Smotricht and/or Ben Gvir (all of three Ministers of the cabinet) are warning to use them in Irán, Gaza or even Syria.

I remember 10 years ago, just Lieberman warned about It.

Israeli it is out of control and Irán should have nuclear weapons for neutralizing their national sport of threatening people.

Do you think the Houthis of Yemen will shut down the Bab-el Mandeb for us?

You’re seriously comparing Venezuela to Iran? Around half of the oil they import comes from the Persian gulf.

Besides, we have presented them on a silver platter a once in a lifetime opportunity to end the bretton woods world order, renegotiate energy deals, strategic alliances and gain control over important chokepoints. They would be foolish to pass on this.

Look I know some people around here aren't going to like what I said, but it's my perspective. Disagreement is fine.

You should never have forced the Israeli cancer into the middle east, they have caused endless chaos and conflict

Trump wants toll money too. He is just showing US Navy competence here.

why not from Russian railways then through the Caspian Sea?
Israel hit a shipment in the Caspian Sea on the first days of war.
Realistically, even our railway system is not a good substitute because it can be bombed, and Israel did this on the last day of war.

We need to shut down Bab-el Mandeb and disrupt navigation in the Suez Canal in response to this.
Agree. One incident just reported near Yemen.

But I doubt the U.S. will literally enforce a total blockade in the Strait. Is he declaring war on the entire world economy or something? He’s doing our job for us.

Using coastal trading US Navy can't make a blockade. There is a substantial difference between Venezuela and Cuba and Irán.

First Irán has land routes.

Second Irán has the largest antiship cruise missile stock of all the region. Being Ghadir missile capable of hitting any target within 300 km range, Iranian ships just need to sail close to the shore.

The only problem would be the route between China and Irán, but Irán can use ghosts ships under convenience flags.
