I believe first round happened. Now posturing starts for the second round for talks. However I don't see a resolution as US leadership is being blackmailed. They can't independently make a decision.

Iriaf cant source proper fighters how will it intend to fight for air superiority? Many members on this forum are simply misinformed and naive, they still think iran has any willing allies, many also seem to gloat about PAF and whatever Pakistan does as best option for everyone due to national bias. The truth is iran doesn’t need fighters but a formidable IADS that takes time to dissamsemble and inflict losses, north korea is an example of nation with relatively weak fighter fleet but has used domestic industry and limited chinese and russian support to make a formbidible air defense network that although not by any means sophisticated is numerous and proliferated making it an incredibly tough nut to crack. Iran couldve gone for a similar structure if not for whole iran then tehran and nuclear sites.

I thought negotiations were compromises not demands with no upside other than war you do what we say and we might not kill you tomorrow but we might change our mind depending on our domestic front or criminal trials look so we can have a much needed distraction

Excuse my language and I usually refrain from potty mouth but the man is F..KING CRAZY the man doesn’t respect anything or anyone how his catholic followers follow him after this is beyond me

Stop defending our compromised leadership. They really can't make a deal because of Israel pressure. I don't think Iran has a problem not making nuclear weapons they tried to sign that treaty multiple times now, but us leadership fails to ensure security and resolution of this conflict. I understand that our nationalistic sentiment drives us to think how we think, but reality is that we have moved the goal post every time a deal is about to be made... and that is the pressure applied by Israel.

As per North Korea that scenario requires the complete erasure of North Korean identity and memory—a task which mere regime collapse cannot achieve.
