Your correct they will not intervene militarily, even though that can easily make Usa and Israel back off. The issue is Usa Israel EU GCC Quad are allies, they will gang up against China, in terms of trade/economy/isolation, also China does not have any defence treaty or strategic military alliance with Iran, infact Iran is in Russian/Indian camp. Yes China does have close economy relations with Iran but even if Iran regime falls China will continue to trade with the new regime, same way after Saddam fell and China trades with Iraq, the trade is more with China than Usa. China is more about business, economy, trade and they stay out of wars and other nation politics, China will militarily only defend a few close allies.

Iran should have made alliances during Iraq Afghanistan war or recent Syrian war, they knew they were next on the hitlist, I expected defence treaty with Russia and Russian military base to defend Iran from any attack but for some reason it was not possible, even though Russia had bases in Syria which stopped Nato from imposing no fly zone.

In fact, the relationship between China and Iran is more focused on the economic sector.

Although China has strengthened its political and military ties with Iran in recent years, its political influence over Iran is still weaker than that of Russia and the United States, especially after the assassination of pro China President Raisi. Looking at Iran's handling of the Chabahar port, China's influence on Iran even may not be as strong as India's.

And although both China and Russia support Iran's anti American stance, their positions towards countries such as Saudi Arabia are different. China hopes that Iran can reconcile with countries such as Saudi Arabia, stabilize the Middle East, restore the glory of the Arab Empire and the Persian Empire, and become an important partner of B&R. And Russia supports the hostility of countries such as Iran and Saudi Arabia, hoping for unrest in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf to raise oil prices. So China's political influence over Iran is actually very weak.

I hope that after the end of this war, we can become better friends with Iran, and I also hope that Iran can have better relations and mutual trust with countries such as Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

my guess is iran will wait until the ceasefire expires to order houthis to close the Bab al-Mandeb strait if US still keeps its blockade until then.

Then saudi's probably will get involved against houthis. maybe we will see strikes against desalination plants.

Have to see what pakistans response is then. probably just help defend saudi skies.

if then U.S militarily gets involved again, iran will also. but i think trump will be reluctant at this point. In which case iran will just send some small attacks here and there against gulfies.

Israelis will potentially stop before ceasefire ends so that they dont have the risk of iran entering against them.

as the blockades go on trump will keep getting frustrated on the sidelines, and again will throw tantrums trying different ineffective things.

maybe after midterms he will enter war again once things get super desperate.

Options would be bomb kharg facilities, invade kharg from kuwait, build up of forces until then and go for khuzestan or threaten to use nukes. all have risks and backlash.

i cant see them accepting iranian terms unless we have massive oil crisis much worse than the 70's, crashing the stock market bubble and petro dollar but that depends on psycology of masses and countries.

The best of the bad options here would be, just allow iran to keep strait blocked, but also damage irans exporting capbilities. and just leave it going on like this for years at $150-200+ until they build new pipelines bypassing strait, increase oil production in canada, venezuela.

By then they will replace the losses and the massive wealth, will then go to north america instead of middle east, with higher prices and productin shift to there.

Of course Iran/China/Russia will work on ways to stop or mitigate this.

Trust me I remember and if he expects me to go through tons and tons of posts I’m not going to bother but I will poke at him from time to time and the only time he’s on my mind is when I see people posting reply’s to him I feel it’s my honorable duty to poke at him all he has to do is admit to saying he was wrong to assume the war would have been won as easily as he boasted with outlandish claims….i pick at those on either side who make outlandish claims if they are silly and ignorant I poke at them equal opportunity type of guy

I think Iran will most likely prefer Russia over China as its foremost strategic partner esp in security matters simply because of their geopolitics that includes geographical proximity and past military cooperation history.
