The ceasefire in Lebanon is a blow to Netanyahu and was only conceded after Iran's hardline on Lebanon. Given that development and given that the Americans/Israelis could have re-armed themselves regardless of a ceasefire or not, I think the Americans really want out. Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir, who is credible, said that the Americans 'begged' the Pakistanis to intervene to stop this war.
Pakistanis certainly have the best information available being not only present during the recent Islamabad Talks in the same room but also exchanging messages and probably leaning upon various parties to be flexible: The Lebanon ceasefire is an example of that and Iran's Ghalibaf has even thanked Pakistan over that.
I think a more durable peace is coming up but I am hoping for a Grand Peace.
I see all wealthy Emiratis are Iranians and they are bilingual. Recently they made hefty investment in Vancouver Canada.A lot of Iranians live in UAE and we import a lot of goods from there
But Satanyahu is refusing to withdraw to their 'border'. Hezbollah is also promising unlike the previous ceasefire that "Israelis" violated constantly, they will respond to every violation. So unless the forces of the rogue regime withdraw back to their "international border" and stop attacking the Lebanese civilians, it looks like the fighting will start again.
Yes, we have two types of immigrants in the Emirates though. We have Ajam Emiratis who are Emirati citizens of Iranian origin, moving there before 1971, and then we have Iranian expats.A lot of Iranians live in UAE and we import a lot of goods from there
How quaint. Her theatrical lament about Pakistan being “sold on the cheap” is touching — but utterly simplistic. She assume Pakistanis are mere pawns to be rented out, when in fact Pakistan have a comprehensive geopolitical calculus that clearly escapes her immaginations. This isn’t desperation; it’s timing. And time, as it happens, is now standing with Pakistan, not against it. So spare us the melodrama about golden palaces and cheap blood. Pakistan is not being sold — it is playing a longer, sharper game than her cartoonish outrage can comprehend.

Nevertheless, it is good to have this much needed ceasefire.
