I don't think they are. Honestly, I see very little change in the leadership of Iran. It seems to be the same line of thinking for the most part.


South Korea was offered the benefits of an alliance with the West, giving them access to Western markets and technology. Iran will never be offered such an option as long as it is not on friendly terms with Israel. Iran may try its best to improve its relations with the United States, but without Israel, it will be futile. Anti-Israel sentiments are a core part of the current system's ideology and it will not change without a regime change.

Iran did have an economic boost after the Iraq-Iran war, particularly when Mohammad Khatami became the President and Iran decided to pursue a reformist approach to mend its ties with the West. It was working quite well for us but it didn't last long, unfortunately.

Most of the Islamic countries are anti Israel and they are getting along well with America and the west..... access to markets is getting difficult to most of the countries...if Iran is allowed to sell her oil freely she can do without access to markets for export of other goods.... you have good size consumer market within your country.

Yes but the damage they were taking was too much as well… also with missile manufacturing gone and missiles stock finished what will iran do? Its good for iran as well to rearm and fight another day… its not like they were about to finish pissrsel or America

You are underestimating the Persian empire. You have no idea the weapons they were getting via Pakistan by Chinese. They have enough. You never been in Iran. You don't know Iran. Iran is a fortress. They tried everything. Name it what they did not try. They tried everything.

Iran does need nuclear weapons for deterrence, but Iran's missile manufacturing is intact.
