Reading Farsi brings back childhood memory of reading Urdu books like the original text of 'Tilism e Hoshruba': It was in Urdu but went over my head a lot because lots of Farsi words. Urdu language is much watered down now to the point too many people use too many English words when easily recognizable Urdu words exist. But then literature is in decline globally. Heck, look at Trump's language!
Lol. Soon, he will be considered the gold standard, given the rate we are going and the reading, writing, and comprehension skills of the current generation.
