There should be no deal. Real force on the ground will establish a new equilibrium. We do not have capable (or uncompromised, take your pick) negotiators in Iran. Not to mention the other side seems to have never honored an agreement. They will go back and scheme to destroy Iran another way.

This clash of interests is too big to be solved by some signatures on a piece of paper. It's almost unbelievable that people don't see this.

I watched the video. That particular hellfire variant doesnt cause this sort of damage.

Also, Pakistan doesnt have that sort of missile, and the US isn't sharing it with anyone.

in my opinion, at best there will be an extension of the ceasefire. it's not possible to negotiate such a massive deal in only a few weeks. and the US is still insisting on its maximalist and unrealistic conditions. so I don't see how a deal can be made currently.

This is precisely the plan. Extend the ceasefire. Extend the status quo. Extend the war without spooking the markets.

Look at the Israeli methodology. They have ceasefires in Gaza and Lebanon. Both of those ceasefires are worthless. Israel breaks the ceasefires perpetually and the media ignores it, therefore the markets are less spooked.

What matters in the Gulf is if Iran can inflict enough genuine market pain during this "ceasefire" or if USA can find a way to nullify that effort.

How many time are we going to get fooled by ceasefires and so called deals?

The plan to destroy Iran goes back decades. The destructions of Iraq and Syria, AQ and Isis, millions killed and billions upon billions spent to get to this point. They will not stop now. What is an agreement worth when we know they will tear it up because they have not achieved their goals?

We know what they need. The total nullification of Iran. And this is a zero sum game. The destruction of empire and its dollar system is the alternative. The military response by Iran this time is only a temporary setback. They will recalibrate and attack again.
