Khomeini was far more pragmatic and intelligent than Khamenei or his son. And you are absolutely right. Iran was doing quite well before they chose the new leader and we were back to Khamenei's policies.

Khomeini also didn't tolerate bullshit from others. He literally finished Salman Rushdie's career and personal life with a single fatwa. He made such an example out of Salman Rushdie that nobody dared to publish such Islamophobic shit after that.

The Ministry of Intelligence actively monitored and assassinated Iranian dissidents that went rogue. Right now, as we speak, Reza Pahlavi is having a speech in Berlin, basically confirming his support for the war by saying that war was inevitable. The US and Israel have taken out our three most important figures (the Supreme Leader, the President and the Head of the Quds Force) and we cannot even assassinate Reza Pahlavi in return. That's pathetic.

Saw a blurry video today where just a small Iranian boat went to a huge vessel in the Strait, boarded that using a ladder, and went to the crew carrying rifles and grabbed that ship. Kind of reminded me of when the Houthis had grabbed a huge vessel by landing via helicopter during the recent Israel-Gaza war.
Easy, peasy for Iran to retain its control of the Strait due to the geography.

Interesting points raised. In nutshell, Iran playing a long game. Aim is to destroy Israel support within America, which is at all time low specially in democrats, who are all set to win the midterm and by the looks of it, next POTUS will be a democrat. More this drags on, more pain it will cause with inflation, and as we say in urdu , "nazla sara Israel pay giray ga". The "deal" trump is looking for, might not even happen with him but next admin.

There was nothing brilliant or unpredictable about the blockade.
I already said that they could've done a blockade on our imports/exports during the war, and the only reason they didn't do that at the time was because they were afraid of oil prices rising above $150 per barrel. It was quite predictable, easily.

We accepted a stupid ceasefire and it gave them the opportunity to impose a blockade on us without causing an economic disaster for poor countries and Europe.

Iran clearly didn't predict it. Even with the expiration of the ceasefire, Iran hasn't restarted military strikes. They are extremely predictable and naive.

Iran has seriously hurt India….i mean 5.2 million Indians have left the GCC for India due to loss of jobs/ businesses shutting down. It’s been a bloodbath for Indians in the GCC.

I pray iran govt dont execute women immediately as this can be easily used to instigate a mob and further fuel anarchy. Very easy narrative is build upon women suffrage in iran . Like few years back a women died protesting hijab in custody and whole movement to burn scarves erupted.force them ito community service.
Secondly , track dollars flow in local market.. as hostile agencies will flood and bribe with dollars like iraq and syria as financial condition tights.
Also iran should little focus on developing allies , not go berzerk. One vs all.

Yes, 3 years seems to be very rational because Iran needs time to rebuild its nuclear infrastructure. Even 5 years is not that bad, but the US didn't accept even a 10-year pause. The best they offered was 20 years, per multiple news sources, assuming the newspapers write the truth.


Honestly, I think the toll system on the Strait of Hormuz is an overreach. Iran can do it as long as there's a war, but it will be nearly impossible to implement it in peace time.


Unfortunately, no guarantees can be made to ensure future US aggressions will not take place. The international law is completely ineffective against permanent UNSC members.


It depends on what happens in Lebanon. Lebanon will probably enter a period of civil war if they insist on disarming Hezbollah. The issue of Lebanon is very complicated and Hezbollah is under so much internal pressure too.

How about pakistani embassy in iran establishes a compound specific to hold 50% at its residence winwin , that way technically HEU does not leave irani soil. A narrative to sell

In Libya Usa imposed no fly zone to destroy Gaddafi military when the terrorist salafis failed. Usa/Israel will not attack due to this but yes they will continue to sabotage Iran via proxies and agents, that will be up to Iran to find out traitors and agents. Iran offered the Americans to put the HEU sealed under direct supervision of the IAEA and the Americans rejected it. The IAEA is basically a UN arm that is used as a spy organization by the US and Israel. I doubt that Pakistan would give the Americans more control over the HEU in Iran than the IAEA. So, why should Americans agree to that?

That's the worst idea.
The US instigated a civil war in Syria and literally invaded Deir Ez-Zur oil fields when Russia had military bases there. Syria was the worst example to come up. A country that suffered from civil war for 14 years and fell in just 11 days. That's your example of what Iran should follow? lol
