Again, it was ONLY the Quds Force of Iran and Hezbollah that kept Assad in power in Syria before 2015. The Russians wanted Assad gone before 2015. Medvedev wanted Assad gone and Russia said it many times. The Russians only entered the Syrian Civil War after Soleimani convinced Putin to enter the war in 2015. And they looted Syrian resources in return for that. And in the end, they did what they always do: abandon their ally.

Read again. There was zero Russian involvement in the Syrian war before 2015. The war started in 2011 and Russia's official stance at the time was for Assad to step down.

May be but Indian presence in GCC is just too strong.Here in KSA, literally every household item is coming from india.most of industrial raw materials are also imported from India.

If you go by CSIS report which many US news outlets are reporting on, US has used huge amount of weapon stocks, your talking $30-50bn worth in 4 to 5 weeks and it will take way over a year to replenish them.

Add to the fact the air campaign was largely a failure not a single real objective met, what they did was met out more pain and suffering to the Iranian people, collective punishment which they do often to many nations.

Trumpy also has held back from launching ground troops, or maybe they are doing convert stuff....

Anyhow military option has so far not worked its strategically made Iran stronger and trumpy has trapped himself.

Famous last words, but I dont think milirary action again is imminent, you have to ask yourself what are they trying to achieve after all that epic failure?

Only real and best option is diplomatic one but trump needs to climb down, he wont yet. I have a feeling its going to get worse for him and in the end he would have wished never to have started the war.

We have to wait and see. My feeling is that within the next 5 hours, the hot war will restart, and it will be much bloodier than it has been thus far.

I hope Im wrong.
