Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

We seriously need to build this pipeline on warfooting with provision of extending to China via Pakistan land route. Do not dither, hit when iron is hot, its once in a century opportunity for us to get hooked into mutually depending framework, interlocking nations security, which as a side effect relieve us a lot of security related issues we are facing.

The British, Indian, and Western media are collectively losing their minds over Pakistan providing Iran with a land route. If that pipeline actually gets built, they’re going to go into total meltdown. You are right though. Pakistan should come first and that should mean a completion of the pipeline.

A UAE ADNOC Logistics & Services Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) M.V. Barakah (IMO: 9902615) was struck by two Iranian drones off the coast of Oman.

Europe doesn't care. It's just the US.

If Iran employs all of its land routes for oil export, it will still be less than 300,000 barrels per day. That's still a huge reduction in our exports, about an 85% reduction.

Iran's IRGC issues new map of Strait of Hormuz under its control

The Navy of the IRGC has announced the new zone of the Strait of Hormuz, which is controlled by Iran’s armed forces, Fars news agency reports.

The zone begins in the West with a line between the end of Iran’s Qeshm Island and the UAE’s Umm Al Quwain.

It ends with a line between Mount Mobarak in Iran and south of Fujairah in the UAE.

Clarity goes a long way. They're trying to arm twist Oman to have it's side of the straits to be used for tanker movement. Trying to undercut a resolution and creating deflection instead.

Keep it simple and do not get dragged into peripheral.

While alternative routes to the Strait of Hormuz are frequently proposed, none within the region offer genuine safety. Iran’s proven ability to strike GCC energy infrastructure renders these alternatives vulnerable. Bypassing the Strait is not a simple logistical fix. It’s an illusion.

This is the definition of malevolence!

Don't want to solve a problem after creating it, invading a state, killing school girls, civilians, civil infrastructure and then threatening them with ending their civilization! Go around them, find scapegoats, by pass them...

Just imagine the nefarious, sinister and devious minds at work.

Very true 👍

A 15 year pause is basically a forever pause. They will never let Iran enrich again. And once the HEU is removed, Iran is no longer a threat for full invasion. Apparently no one here has learned anything from Ukraine, Iraq, and Libya giving up their nuclear programs.

What kind of backwards logic is this?

Iran is in the process of building many civil nuclear power plants, Russia is building 3 more in Iran. The entire world needs power and is moving towards massive power generation. Iran is a power exporter.

Those nuclear power plants need fuel. If iran doesn’t have a large scale enrichment program it will have to rely on US or Russia to supply nuclear fuel — both unreliable countries that have historically blackmailed iran to get concessions.

Now think 25 years ahead, Iran gave up its nuclear enrichment and has 7+ nuclear reactors and suddenly U.S. comes up with new demands for Iran, Iran refuses and U.S. then bans any country from supply nuclear fuel. You know what will happen then? Then Iran will be facing an electrical grid nightmare problem of having to shut down all these nuclear plants because they are running out of fuel. And since it gave up its enrichment program like you advocate, it has no domestic capability to replace that fuel.

So yes there is a point to enrichment outside of nuclear weapons if you are not aligned with the West and a puppet.

Russia and China are not reliable enough to assume 25 years or 50 years later they will not be owned by the Zionists in some fashion or won’t bow to US pressure and comply with sanctions. A lot can change in the world in just 25 years.
You are talking as if you are on an equal footing with USA and can do some hard bargaining.... save yourself from the knockout punch for now .

Has the Iranian government ever announced how much oil the China-Iran railway can transport?

it will take us 10-15 years to recover from this war, so I don't doubt it. a temporary and voluntary moratorium on enrichment (which we are not even doing now anyway) to help get primary sanctions relief to fund our reconstruction, is logical

Thank God for some sense!
The Iranian proposal would be a huge win for Iran and so no wonder Netanyahu (aka Trump) is not liking that. I don't know why so many Iranians here are breast beating about it, just like they didn't like the original JCPOA. Iran has some cards to play with but doesn't have the whole deck. Work with what you have. Bide your time. Wait for this nasty US Administration to leave the office. This is nothing but a Netanyahu stooge sitting in the White House and Netanyahu is not going to lose any opportunity to take advantage of Trump in office.
Bide your time! The next US Administration, if a strong Democratic majority, will be much different on the Middle East, AIPAC or not.
