Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

My father is retired instructor fighter pilot from PAF, currently flying at Isa Air Base in Bahrain to teach the RBAF to become jet fighter pilots. Him and another Pakistani pilot led the formation of jets to escape from Isa Air Base from being further attacked, as it was evident they were no longer targeting the American part only but also the training wing for the Bahrainis. Unfortunately not at liberty to share pictures of the damage done there. No my family isn't part of the group attacking Iran, nor do they have any interest for it at all.
over dramatic personality

"Iran tries to kill my family", haha.

My support or your support is of no importance in this because we are civilians on a forum. So, saying with or without your support is sort of nonsense, if you'll excuse my French.

Nevertheless, one only has to look at Iran before 2013 and after 2013 to just see where we're heading. It's not that difficult. You pro-IR crowd who blindly support whatever that the IR does or tells you have a long history of ignoring the signs of what is about to unfold. It's not the first time, and it won't be the last time either.

It sounds defeatist to you because you guys love the status quo where Iran is being sacrificed for a lost cause that doesn't even concern us in the first place. Otherwise, what I'm saying is nothing but the truth that anyone with a realpolitik approach can see on his own. Time will prove who is right.
We are not blind supporters of IR. You are forgetting about China, the country which is keeping the Iranian economy single handedly afloat by buying its oil and ignoring western sanctions. The Chinese want this conflict to come to an end soon, on terms that are favorable to Iran more than the US, they do not want an open ended conflict. The Chinese and Russians are vetoing the UN Security council resolutions against Iran in exchange for Iran listening to them and accepting their views. It was the Chinese who wanted this ceasefire.

China isn't doing this out of love for Iran but as part of its geopolitical pushback to an aggressive US. Iran cannot ignore China.

I don't know how to emphasize this enough, but there is no end to this conflict that is favorable to Iran. Not before deterrence is established.

Have you looked at the US terms of agreement? Those are nothing but terms of surrender. A peaceful way of defanging Iran against future attacks by offering Iran only promises, cementing Iran's status as Lebanon 2.0 or Syria 2.0.

To be blunt, your father went to a military base which was used by the USAF to attack Iran during a war. That is a military target. Targeting the base does not equate to Iran trying to kill your family.

Which option is more plausible:

1) Iran attacks Isa Air Base in Bahrain because it is used by the USAF

2) Iran attacks Isa Air Base in Bahrain because they heard Raider 21's father was there

I understand your emotional response since it involves your father, and respect your decision to take a step back from this thread as a result.

That's an extremely pessimistic viewpoint. Attempts to make Iran the next Lebanon or the next Syria or the next Iraq have already failed. What else were the last 18 months about ??

Yes the Americans are being stubborn because they put their entire middle East and global reputation on the line. But they will come to their senses by the end of May.

Have you noticed the latest American provocations of shooting the rudders of empty Iranian oil tankers ? That is the Americans acknowledging their blockade is leaky and that ships are indeed getting through.

Have faith friend.

USN elements left Isa Air Base in mid Jan. USAF elements don't fly or recover at Isa since the war started there. The north part of the airbase was hit where it used to host US elements, that was understood and not disputed for. But when the southern buildings housing the training wing got hit, then that became a major concern, especially when the transport wing's technicians were killed including a number of Pakistanis.

US military aircraft launched regularly from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait and Jordan.

Ending it there. No need for further mockery, I appreciate the insults.

Don't lie, zero Pakistanis were killed in Bahrain.

2 US defence contractors were injured, though. What were they doing there, if they left the base?

Even if true. What exactly does jet fighter pilots do? Shoot flowers?

the point he is trying to make is that Pakistani pilots were stationed at that base to train Bahraini pilots in a separate part of the base to where the USAF was

I agree they were not directly part of the war, but the air base used by the USAF is a military target and Iran attacking it doesn't mean they tried to kill his family

Naah nobody takes egypt serious. They were conquered by israelis and americans in late 70s, one of the first muslim countries to fell to the dark side!
They are a big joke !

Egypt (its govt and military/establishment) has long sold-out to the american/israeli camp, in return for financial assistance and bailouts.
The Egyptian people however, are different. But they're hostage to their govt/military and pretty much helpless.

Personally know many people recently deported, in some cases, Sunnis are not safe either if their names resembles Ali, Hussain, Abbas etc
